My earlier review was poor which was based upon my local post office not delivering the hat until 9 days after they received it from Lift Down. Now that it has arrived - it's a great, comfortable, well made hat!

Great fit and quality - fits big heads!
Shipping was super quick and communications was great! Hats fit my BIG head perfectly with no adjustment. I have never had hats fit this well and they have perfect brim height so you don't look like you're wearing a top hat like other brands.

I ordered two caps
I ordered two caps, two different colors. I received the two caps, but were both one color, I contacted Lift Down, they corrected the problem immediately by sending me the cap color I ordered. Nice fitting caps!

Fairness in Advertising
Hat is advertised as a “wool” hat when it is only 50% wool and 50% polyester. For the premium price that is charged it should either have more wool in it or the advertising should be more transparent.

Hi Weber. Lift Down Wool caps have polyester blended into parts of the construction to maintain the shape. The Wool Caps exterior is 100% Wool while the inside contains the blend. I hope this clears things up!

Mostly great
Great colors, and the hat is a few grams lighter than most which adds to the comfort without being cheap. I like a lower profile cap (more like a golf or tennis style) and these fit the bill perfectly. Minus one star because the buckle/strap adjustment slips fairly easily, loosening the cap so I am adjusting it daily.
