Firestone Complete Auto CareReviews of local.firestonecompleteautocare.com

Beware if you have had your brakes repaired here. Our brake lines were repaired with compression fittings which are illegal in Connecticut and most states because they are unsafe. A hard braking incident could cause your brake lines to snap. If you have had work done, please get it checked. Not to mention they quoted 10-12 hours, finished the job in 4 and still charged 3,000. They also left me with almost no brake fluid but charged me for a bleed and fluid exchange. Managers Brandon and Frank were both shady and refused to take accountability. Brandon continuously gaslighted me saying that my brakes were safe. He and Frank both said the job was done in 4 hours because their techs are “that good” not because they are billing for the standard of a full brake line replacement which requires 10-12 hours to drop the gas tank and sub frame to run new lines and instead splicing pieces of line together to go around the gas tank with illegal compress fittings which takes 2-3 hours. This is dangerous, fraudulent and unlawful. I hope they are investigated soon.

This review is for the location in El Dorado Hills, on Green Valley Road. I went to get 2 new front tires and was told the wheel alignment needed adjusting, which I agreed to. When I looked at the report the next day I saw the wheel alignment was still outside the specified limits. When I returned I was told the measuring equipment was not that accurate. It also felt like my concerns were not being taken seriously and I was being fussy, but they did agreed to re-align them. 2 days later I found my two new tires had been inflated to 10 psi too low, after one triggered an alarm in my car. I inflated them myself at home and found the tire pressure sensors were assigned incorrectly on the 2 new tires (i.e. a low pressure on the left side appeared as low pressure on the right side on the in-car display). I returned again to get this corrected. After explaining the issue to the service manager the mechanic came in and said he was wasting his time correcting it, as he had done it correctly the first time. When I started to explain how I had discovered the issue, the mechanic held a straight arm out at me with the palm of his hand facing me, basically telling me to shut up! The car was driven into the shop, and I was told it had been fixed. A day later I did the same test and discovered it was still incorrect. I called to tell them, and was told a manager would call me the next day. I have still received no call, and the tire pressure monitors are still incorrectly assigned. I never received a single apology throughout this whole ordeal.

Wow. There are almost no good tire shops left! This place is absolutely horrible! I will now have to try another shop. Why would they confirm an appointment 2 days before and not have the tires! Not acceptable! Take your business to somewhere who cares about it's customers! Just Terrible! Will be sure to go on every platform I can to make sure people know exactly how bad this place is!

Manager Ordered the wrong 20 lug nuts ,mechanic forced them onto my car, I had to come right back to the shop same day, my wheel wasn't set right and ready to fall off because of that and wrong parts . They then told me they put the wrong ones on my car , they also gouged the holy hell out of my hub caps. Store can't do refunds without manager And I just called and told them they damaged my hub caps and was told oh the manager isn't here,, gee what a surprise . Takes forever to get a problem resolved when you file complaint

I have been a regular customer, but mainly for tires. Recently had a check engine light on. They reviewed and their quote would have been near $7,000 saying I needed a new catalytic convertor and other things for my Honda Pilot. I left and went to the Honda auto repair and they did the diagnostic, all it needed was new fuel injectors!! What a RIP OFF!! I no longer trust Firestone for my vehicles.

Bought my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT new at 2016. In October 2022 water pump gave out just 20 ft. from firestone so I got a new water pump at firestone. May of 2025 water pump went out again. Took it back to firestone and got confirmation. They said the warranty is only for a year. Keep in my I been doing at least 50 miles on average a day give or take. My O.E. pump lasted about 6 years and some months. The pump they installed (which i was unaware was a Napa part) lasted a little over 2 years and by the way the Napa part was over 230.00 dollars at 2022. An O.E. pump (Mopar) is 117.00 dollars at 2025. They was going to charge me over 600.00 dollars for a new pump and service. They was not going to try and give me a discounts for the over priced bad part that could not operate at least a full three years. This was firestone at Smyrna D.E. I am highly disappointed but this does not reflect the mechanics. This is strictly for the management that felt no responsibility for the bad experience. Time to find another repair station

This review is specifically for Firestone Complete Auto Care located at 5215 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL 60630. I trusted Firestone Complete Auto Care to align my BMW 750 before a family road trip, but their negligence caused severe damage to my vehicle. Firestone performed two alignments within the same year but failed to follow BMW’s standard procedures both times by not replacing critical bolts. As a result, my wheels shifted out of place while driving, causing severe tire wear and damage to the control arms and suspension components of my car. Despite admitting their mistake, Firestone refused to cover the damage, leaving me with an undrivable car and over $1,000 in repair costs. I’ve contacted Firestone Corporate, filed a BBB complaint, and have yet to receive a response. Their lack of accountability and poor customer service is unacceptable. Avoid Firestone if you care about your vehicle’s safety and your wallet. #FirestoneFail #PoorService #CustomerServiceFail #AutoCare #ConsumerRights

BEWARE!!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS FIRESTONE!!! 11290 FL-82, Fort Myers, FL 33905 As I was fueling my F150, the gas pump kept shutting off like my tank was full. It took approximately 20 minutes to fill up. I did not think anything of it, contributing it to a gas pump that had too much pressure behind it. Truck was running fine, without any signs or symptoms of any issues. A day or two later, the check engine light illuminated. I took it to AutoZone and had them run a diagnostics test. The test revealed that I needed to replace a faulty fuel tank isolation valve. When I Googled the part/issue, I discovered that the gas pump shutting off like it did was a sign of that faulty part. The valve is on top of the trucks fuel tank and I did not have the means to do it on my own. Being new to the area, I did not have a mechanic that I trusted. I decided to bring it to this Firestone since I have had good experiences at a different location in Dunedin, FL. I told the associate what the AutoZone test showed along with giving them a copy of the results. They ran their own diagnostics and called with the results, which did not include the part the AutoZone test revealed. When I questioned that, they assured me that their solution would fix the issue at a cost of $832.18. When I picked up my truck a few hours later, the check engine light was off and it seemed to be running the same as before the repair, no signs/symptoms. I had to travel for work, so I didn't drive it for close to 2 weeks. When it was time to fuel up. I had the same issue with the gas pump shutting down. I brought the truck back to the same Firestone. I informed them that I felt like they didn't fix the original issue and sold me unrelated parts/repair. They ran another diagnostic test and it showed that the part listed on the AutoZone test (what I originally told them and showed them ) was the faulty one and that it would now cost over $1000.00 to repair. I feel that they just ignored the AutoZone test summary and sold me unrelated parts and repair. They failed to take responsibility and fix the issue without another cost to myself.
