MSC provides a very dedicated support team to their clients. My physician advisor (Dr. Nicholas Bohannon) and writing advisor (James Fleming) worked extensively with me to ensure my application was presented as competitive and palatable to medical schools. This included last minute/late notice submissions which I really appreciated. This ultimately led to my first acceptance (and hopefully more)! I believe MSC could improve upon the criteria for school list formulation. This service primarily factors in out-of-state versus in-state friendliness as well as the applicant's proximity to the median MCAT/GPA, however I believe a lack of significant consideration for mission fit led me to apply to a few schools that I did not align with and therefore wasnt a competitive applicant at despite being near/above their median stats. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and would seriously consider using this service again.

As a second time and non-traditional applicant, I was nervous to re-apply, especially having been out of school for 4+ years. It was okay!

Jon was great, he was what I was looking for in a tutor. He was always on time, well prepared for sessions, constantly quized me and delve deeper when I needed it. My incorrects turned into teaching moments and how different topics could be strung along. His template for using Chat has made it an pillar for my future studying as a physician. No doubt without his help, I passed Step 1.

Sara was an amazing tutor. She was really easy to work with and very flexible. The whole company was very professional as a whole too. I love all the materials that were included. As someone who didn’t know before hand what I should be using for the mcat this was great!

I received comprehensive feedback in my interview prep session. My interviewer was very knowledgeable about the specific school I was applying for and had very constructive advice for me to use.

Our daughter is an existing BSDO path and wanted to give MD a shot and decided it would be good to get a professional look at her essays. She had still not given the MCAT (back in Nov 2025) for the 2026-27 cycle. Logic said we should wait till we had a rough feel for her MCAT score before we start any package. But MedSchoolCoach convinced us that if we don't buy their package immediately we would loose out on Director help. So we joined. Unfortunately her MCAT score was not competent enough so she has decided to continue with her DO program. Her personal statement and activities were well crafted by itself where the director himself said "not seen such a good essay". We got limited feedback like combining paragraphs or changing a word here or there. By then she had given few FL's with sub 500 score. She kept them informed all along, and decided to go with the DO program in hand. We had interviews, secondaries etc in the package we no longer needed. Being a reputable company, we were hopeful for at least a partial refund since we did not need their services in some areas (and even what we got was not earth shattering since she already had good essays). BUT NO! They make you go in circles and circles and not stick with their promises. DO NOT USE! Their sales team is out to get gullible people. Everything was stated up front on where we were. Very disappointing!

I have loved my experience! It has prepared me well for the application process. Everyone I have worked with has been incredibly helpful and supportive.
