I highly recommend using Metropins. I just finished creating a glass enamel cloisonne pin with the assistance of Chelsea at Metropins and I couldn’t be happier. I previously used to different companies (the Pin People and All About the Pins) to make three previous pin designs. The honestly and service I received from Metropins was superior. The Pin People were direct and truthful but did not take my goals or end product in mind. Because I was naïve, they pushed me toward making an epola pin with tapered edges. The pin fell well short of what I was trying to achieve and varied drastically from the proof. All About the Pins are dishonest. They lied to me and said the pin would be made out of glass enamel cloisonne (on 5 different instances). Yet the final products were imitation cloisonne (resin) and I only discovered this because All About the Pins sent me paperwork with their notes on it indicating imitation cloisonne. Because of my previous pin making experiences I was distrusting and defense. Metropins and Chelsea reassured me that they would do everything they could to ensure a transparent process and easy my distrust. Without a doubt I was a hard client, at least 25 proofs, some of the revisions requested by me were two pages long, and I had tons of questions. At no point did Chelsea make me feel like I was a problem or being unreasonable. Additionally, the pin I wanted to make was very complicated because it was a 1.25 inch glass enamel cloisonne pin. Chelsea’s solutions was to order a sample because she warned me that certain details would likely not come through in such a tiny design. I ordered the sample and she was 100% correct. Although the sample added to my overall cost, I was able to learn from my mistakes, go through a few more rounds of redesigning the pin, and now I will truly get the design and glass enamel finish I’ve been chasing for 2 years. Again, Metropins from my experience is knowledgeable, prompt, honest, helpful, and patient. I am never going anywhere else.
