They lied, gave bad advice and finally someone else stepped in and fixed things
As usual - the first line of human support at Mighty Networks was completely useless. You have to get past the bots, then the first level of untrained humans that just read off of scripts (I think they know nothing about the product) to get to someone that can possibly help. Took a week to get a simple issue addressed.

lots of hype without the return horrible experience
I was a Mighty networks customer for four years and spent $12,000 on their next two top-tier membership. During this time my experience with customer service issues were hit or miss… Sometimes I was provided great service and other times it was truly a negative experience overall recently I decided that all the features available to me on my plan were probably also available on another and less expensive plan. I went ahead and proceeded with the downgrade and felt confident in doing so because of the advice given to me by their “cohost“ AI it became almost immediately evident that the downgrade included much more than what was described by the AI. I reached out to customer service and after everything I had been through in the last four years, I decided it was in my best interest to leave the platform and get a refund for the nearly $1000 I paid for the downgraded plan instead of providing me with a schedule to make this happen considering I had over 1400 members on my community and needed a few days to plan the transition my community was immediately downgraded and maxed out on this space. Any connection to the UK was also blocked which meant I could not let many members of my site access the system. In addition, my user data, which is incredibly valuable as a community leader, was denied to me because downloading the data is only available to members of the plan I had been part of. This has put me in a horrible position as a community leader, and I’m unable to contact my members to inform them of the new community. I have set up in just two days in order to facilitate what we had access to prior incredibly unprofessional and thoughtless company, my community is suffering… something which they stay over and over is important to them yet they refuse my emails and AI answers everything. $12k over four years and it means nothing.

5 Star Customer Support
In my 20+ years as a web developer working across multiple platforms, Mighty Networks has provided the best customer support I've ever experienced. While setting up my pre-launch site, their team resolved several issues almost immediately. I appreciate having access to both their AI bot and knowledgeable human support. Knowing they won't stop working on a problem until it's fully solved gives me complete confidence as a site builder.

Mighty works is something that I never…
Mighty works is something that I never thought would exist what these people have done is brilliant on so many levels it’s hard to describe because they have taken the time to bring every app every comment everything that we hope for and so much more. I’m so glad that I’m a part of the mighty Works family and I suggest to anyone if they’re really serious about creating community you gotta check it out.

Good layout, but the broken reply notifications are a massive headache
We switched over hoping to get away from the mess of Facebook groups, but the latest updates totally wrecked the reply system. Whenever someone gets pinged about a reply under a post, the link just leads nowhere, which completely buries active threads and makes following discussions impossible for my mods. Getting a real human from support takes days when things go wrong, and dealing with automated bot responses during live events is just exhausting. The space looks nice, but basic thread glitches like this make it really hard to keep members engaged.

Hi Joe,
Thank you for sharing this feedback.
We understand how frustrating it is when reply notifications don’t take members back to the conversation they’re trying to follow.
We’re also sorry to hear that getting the support you needed felt difficult. We’d like the opportunity to look into the notification behavior you’re experiencing. Please reach out to us at [email protected] with your Network details so our team can investigate further.
Thanks.

Mighty Networks makes many promises
Mighty Networks makes many promises, but it does not support the fulfillment of those promises. We were sold with discount motivation and pressure, an annual subscription to have a branded app of our own, and then we're given six hours of support to implement it, which was probably a tenth of what we actually needed.
The interface for the user is so complex that it's like opening File Manager on a Windows computer in 1980. There are just lines and lines of information, and navigation is very difficult, even for our students who are used to going to find content from our courses.
We were offered further support, but on calculations it worked out to over $1,250 per hour, and so we have now canceled all our membership project plans. These, of course, cost much more than the actual subscription at $16,000 for the first year with incentives, then over $20,000+ for subsequent years, but I would caution anybody from using this app and researching the competition, which is less expensive. In some cases, it allows you to have a branded app at no cost, like Simplero.
The one compliment I would make about this app is that the inspirational talks that the founder gives and the research that they've compiled as a result of metrics of their clients are really very useful. If this is something that you want to explore, I would recommend paying for one month's membership and watching all the videos you can, and then using them for your benefit should you choose to go further with them or indeed go to a different platform.
It saddens me to have to say this, as I know the impact that a Trust Pilot review can have. I have to say that I wish I checked that they had only three and a half stars as a rating before I had made a financial commitment to them. It would have saved me about $100,000 in wasted time and effort .
