Toke away external server plans, so if you even wanted to host on minehut with decent specs you have to pay 50$+ an month, cheaper to go other providers.

We're sorry to hear you are unhappy with our service. We removed the option for External servers due to Trust & Safety concerns. We are currently working on a path to bring External servers back as well as improving our internal offerings.

Suspended my server without chance to fix what I did wrong, I pay to host my server its not right to suspend and lock me out of it without a second chance to correct it after spending weeks of work on it.
Response from Minehut· Mar 30, 2026
We're sorry that you are unhappy with our service. We do not typically suspend servers without warning and you are welcome to appeal.

Full 💩 poo! Player numbers are decreasing everyday as they double down on their super strict guidelines. Also, note that most of the 5 star reviews here are from minehut mods themselves.

We're sorry that you are unhappy with our service. We have a chat filter that we have provided to all servers, which was a requested feature by a majority of our community. Our mission is to create safer gaming spaces for players, if that doesn't align with what you are looking for then we are not the host for you.

just plain garbage, too expensive, trash staff, trash rules, cant even allow afk pools and swearing in your server anymore. They barely give you any storage, 0/10.

stay away from this platform based server, they tend to ban without any reason and make it impossible to appeal for it. Find another better server that has better leniency

been banned on one of my account, tried appealing and never got response, couldnt get back on or appeal anymore and its been 2 years.... avoid this one
Response from Minehut· Jan 30, 2026
Permanent bans are not something we take lightly on our platform and it is reserved for severe harms and rule violations. We only accept one appeal per punishment, so if you are not receiving a response you were most likely blocked in our ticket system for creating numerous appeals.

A pretty decent hosting platform. Since it has such a large userbase, you can make a server alive even if you start from scratch like i did. And the prices are fair in my opinion. The issue though is they sometimes have disconnection issues or some glitches here and there but they are usally fixed rather quickly.
