I had so much fun, met new people and it didn't even seem like a lot of stuff but it helped and people were so grateful and kind.

We were supposed to go to Mayfield, KY but ended up in Waverly. I have NO doubt we were supposed to go there all along. Everything about the experience was wonderful! The facilities, the food, the people, the work. I was so grateful to not have to be the “Boss Boss” Jimmy took care of all the logistics which made it easier for me to focus on my kids. I don’t typically get to do that as the leader. Everyone embraced our crazy, nontraditional group of teens. Mission Discovery was so very accommodating to us because we were unable to do a whole week’s worth of work. All the kids that didn’t want to be there ended up mostly enjoying themselves in spite of having to work. Considering this was the first mission trip for the majority of them, I’ll take that as a WIN!

I had a great time on my mission discovery trip to Nashville! I loved the projects our group took part in and felt like we were really making a difference.

We had a great trip! Jimmy and Josh were great. Jimmy handled several different curveballs with the various work sites so that we could focus on our youth. Even the kids that didn’t Really want to go on the trip got something out of it.

Mission Discovery helped to create an impactful mission trip experience for both high school students and leaders. The evening teachings and worship times were powerful and helped draw us into the presence of God. The food was quite good and served by 4 ladies with pleasant demeanors and true servant hearts. Everything that we needed to know was explained in detail, and it was refreshing to see the students pitch in with all their hearts to serve at the ministry sites as well as at the host school. We could see the spiritual growth of the students as the week progressed, in part due to the tremendous support of the Mission Discovery team.

My friends and I have served with Mission Discovery as cooks supporting those who are in Nashville serving others. I love all the project leaders we have served with, Looking forward to coming again next year

This was my first year to serve with Mission Discovery!! There was a group of us ladies that cooked for some amazing youth who went out into the community and served the people of Nashville. Everything associated with Mission Discovery was so well organized and the people in charge had such a servants heart. I hope to be able to do this again!!!
