DO NOT GO HERE! I went in for an oil change last year. They did not properly torque my oil filter and oil spilled all over my engine. It was found 11 months later when I brought my car into the dealership for my next oil change (which was significantly cheaper than what Monro charged me!) I contacted customer service to get a refund but they refused. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

The biggest possible scammers on earth. Avoid at any cost.

Scheduled an inspection two days in advance, for first thing in the morning, went in and they’re complaining about having too much to already do for that day, never got a call saying hey don’t waste your time bringing it in today, no email no nothing, just two dudes who don’t seem to have a clue what’s going on.. never taking any of my cars back their again.. god forbid people are just honest and can get u in when THEY schedule you..

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! DO NOT GO HERE! (Glastonbury, CT) Mechanic negligence and incompetence caused extensive damage to my car. I brought my car in due to a visual leak. Picked up my car with the check engine light on (was not previously on) and the tech unable to figure out why/fix it. He advised me he lost a wrench in my engine compartment, which I thought was a joke until it flew out from my car on the highway almost hitting the person behind me. I was told they would do some 'research' on how to fix the check engine light that wouldn't go away. Upon out running errands, my car wouldn't start and I had it towed elsewhere because Monro wouldn't take accountability for their careless work and they were downright rude. A new auto shop found there were 12 trouble codes, all due to the failed work done at Monro. They cleared and fixed 11 of 12, with the last one needing to be done by the dealer. I didn't have my car for weeks due to all the remedial work needed. I spent the last TWO YEARS fighting with Monro's insurance to get reimbursed for the thousands of dollars I had to spend elsewhere for remedial repairs. Customer service has offered nothing to make things right for my inexcusable experience - they refuse to refund me for initial costs after a hellish and utterly unacceptable experience. Also, they have staff leaving good reviews on Google, don't be fooled!!!

Making an appointment here means nothing. Waiting a long time, slow, facility filthy. I would not recommend to anyone as there are many other places to go to nearby. I saw three people leave while here- not wanting to wait and went elsewhere. Disappointed.

DANGEROUS AND NEGLIGENT WORK – DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY'S CAR HERE I had brake replacement, tire service, and wheel alignment performed at this Monro location in December 2025. Shortly after, my wife and young child were driving to Albany in a winter storm when the brakes started making a loud banging noise. She was forced to drive in fear for an extended period before finding another Monro location, where a technician discovered one brake caliper bolt was MISSING ENTIRELY and a second was dangerously loose. My wife and child could have been killed. I contacted Fairport manager Kevin, who was completely nonchalant and actually said "the advantage of Monro is you can stop at their other locations." He eventually offered a partial refund — which was never paid — then became completely unreachable. I filed a BBB complaint (Case #24733045). In their formal response, Monro corporate ADMITTED the caliper bolt was not properly secured and acknowledged filing an insurance claim for rim damage caused by their negligence. Despite this admission, they are refusing a full refund. The tire pressure light is also still on after their tire service, and the rim was scratched. THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS DO NOT GO TO MONRO UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! From their in store employee's to their corporate structure these people will go out of their way to try and scam you. If you try to call them they will put you on hold for about 10 minutes then hang up, or just hang up on you in general. Spent about a hour on the phone trying to speak to a manager and got the run around over and over and over. All this not to even mention HOW MUCH THEY OVERCHARGE FOR REGULAR SERVICES! IT DOES NOT COST $500 AN AXLE TO DO YOUR BRAKES LIKE THE MAN ON THE PHONE TOLD SOMEONE WHO CALLED! Not only rude to me but condescending to other patrons while i was there. They will hold your keys hostage and force money out of you under duress. Only thing i should have done is called the cops to get my keys. Scammers through and through, DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! EMPLOYEES TO CORPORATE THEY WILL TRY EVERYTHING TO SCAM YOU

Got a flat tire driving down Interstate 90 from Cleveland to Buffalo on a Sunday afternoon. Got the donut on which wasn't going to last with two hours still to go to Buffalo. Started frantically calling tire places to see if anyone had a soul and might consider helping me 15 minutes before closing time. Most places said no thanks. Matt, the manager at the location on Peach Street however, answered the call! Without hesitation, he said "bring it on by." I showed up 10 minutes before closing time hoping they would just sell me a tire to get me where I was going. Instead, Matt and his colleague Paul dropped what they were doing to help a guy in need. They were able to plug the tire, saving me hundreds. To top it off, they also came out and put it on my car for me-something I surely wasn't expecting now that it was after closing time. If these guys don't come through like they did, I'm spending the night in Erie, missing an important doctor's appointment for my Dad in the morning and getting to Buffalo who knows when? I can't say enough how great these two guys were and how much their kindness meant to me. Thank you Matt and Paul!
