The tour was fantastic starting with their immediate responsiveness and flexibility. They really were interested in the kind of tour we wanted and were willing to push back on some social media inspired suggestions that really didn’t work in the real world. The driver they provided, Ayoub, was out of this world - great driving aside (and having now experienced the traffic in Moroccan cities, no small feat), he was enthusiastic, funny, and made us very comfortable. That part was important to us because we had never traveled just the two of us with a driver - a new experience that really underscores how you feel about the people helping you out. Ayoub really made us feel at home and not like we were just on the grand tour with minions around us. He was spectacular. Morocco was as amazing as we had hoped and if we make it back there, will know where to concentrate our time.

We are a couple in our 70s from New Jersey and have traveled with private tours before. I must say that Morocco tours has met and exceeded our expectations. The booking process is very detailed and they shower you with information to prepare you for the trip. The main deciding factor for my 5 star is that you get to be with the same driver through the entire tour and Mehdi, our driver for 11 days, was a star. He is a go getter. He was on top of our needs, showed concern for our satisfaction every step of the way. His English is good and explains points of interests plus he is open to conversations which is so important when you are in a car driving up to 6 - 7 hours on certain stretches. One thing I have to stress is his careful driving. I sat next to him during the tour and he observed every speed limit and traffic rule. Never was I concerned about his driving, especially when passing slower cars and trucks on a two lane bidirectional road. This to me is most important as the last thing you want is to end up in a car crash in the middle of nowhere in a country you do not speak the language of. Morocco tours offers 3 tears of hotel accommodations. We chose the top tear and my review will be limited to that experience. All the Hotels , Kasbahs and Riads were excellent. Riads are older buildings and don't look like anything from the outside but when you enter them they bedazzle you with their ornate carvings, mosaic designs on walls, floors and ceilings and their detailed iron railings. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The food overall was great for our taste, it is void of creamy, greasy, sauces. If you are into that kind of food you will probably not find it in Morocco. They use natural ingredients and they don't use pesticide we were told. Everything we ate at hotels and Riads was tasty and well prepared. However, we were cautious not to eat raw vegetables, fruits and only drank bottled water purely as a safety precaution that we follow in countries with different bacterial flora. If you are into wine I recommend the Volubilis wine tasting by Meknes. Local grapes only. I especially liked the full body Epicuria Cabarnet Sauvignon. I can also recommend Domaine De Sahari Reserve Rouge which I had at one of our dinners. The highlight for us was the camel ride and desert sunset experience as you don't get to experience that in most of the places you visit as a tourist. We had a blast on the camels, especially during the mounting and dismounting process. The rest of the activities are mentioned on the Morocco tours website and I won't go into those. I must say in parting that I was pleasantly surprised by the Moroccan people. They are easy going, fun loving, kind people as you get to know them. Morocco is a constitutional Monarchy (same as England for example). They have a king which several people told me is a good king and they like him. They practice a moderate and tolerant strain of islam and apparently they have constitutional protection of historical non-muslim minorities. Women have equal rights under the law. Some are covered, some are not. No one seems to care. My point is that Morocco is a safe country to travel in. We felt comfortable everywhere we went to. However, traffic in the big cities is chaotic and not something I ever would want to get involved in as a driver. Best you have a competent driver like Mehdi take care of that for you. Don't forget to have dinner at Rick's Cafe in Casablanca (If you never watched the 1942 movie Casablanca with Humphry Bogart and Ingrid Bergman Please do so) Happy and safe travels to all.

We just finished a 7 day tour of Morocco with Morocco Tours. It's the first time we've done a private tour for that long and it was amazing. Our driver and guide was Hamid and he was exceptional - very considerate of our needs and very knowledgable about the cities and sites we visited. We stayed in riads in Fes and Marrakech and I would highly recommend that for anyone visiting Morocco as it gives you more of a feel for the local culture. It was a great experience for my wife and I.

We were a small group — 3 people — that knew nothing about Morocco, so first we shopped for a tour company. That was a daunting process, until we spoke with Brian Smith, of Experience IT Tours. Brian was knowledgeable and accommodating, easy to talk to, no pressure, and very professional. He was flexible with itinerary suggestions and accommodations, had great ideas, and his final quote was competitive. Brian was diligent with paper work, travel tips, and information throughout the pre-trip process. We felt like we were in capable hands. Shortly after we met our driver, Youssef Mansouri, at the airport in Casablanca, we realized we had made the right choice with Experience IT Tours. Youssef got us everywhere we needed to be, cancelled excursions if we weren’t up to them, made fantastic restaurant suggestions, helped us with shopping, bartering and tipping, and made the 11 days we were together in his van a joy. We can’t adequately express how much we valued Youssef; he was easy going, fun, flexible, and took us off the beaten path for authentic Moroccan experiences. Youssef and Sera — who was the Experience IT Tours contact in Fez who came to our riad to introduce herself — even changed our accommodations in Marrakech with no questions the one and only time we were not thrilled with a riad (one that we, not they, chose from the options provided). By the way, the riad they got us into on very short/no notice was fantastic. Experience IT Tours even treated us to lunch “for our inconvenience,” which was neither expected nor necessary but very much appreciated. The tour guides Youssef connected us with all great. We had 11 spectacular days in Morocco and are already planning another trip to Morocco. We just contacted Brian, and we look forward to seeing Youssef again!

Morocco Tours runs a fabulous operation from initial contact with Brian, handoff to Bethany, and finally meeting our driver Zak who drove us safely, informatively, and with humor around the country. Jill's visit to our riad in Fes demonstrated her, and the company's, care and concern for Sally when she wasn't feeling well. Lastly, each tour guide was expert and pleasure to be with. And that's just the personal coordination/connection. Our hotels and riads were excellent; the food and service that accompanied them, outstanding; and each unique location we visited, wonderful. In sum, Morocco Tours has amply done their home work, foot work, and research in offering the condensation of their efforts, a gem of a tour. Thanks to all.

We went on a 10 day trip around Morocco seeing all the highlights. Our driver/guide Hamid was amazing. He was so knowledgeable and taught us so much about the culture. He took us to meet their staff in Fes which was a very nice touch and bought me a birthday cake. Everyday was something new: World Heritage sites, Roman ruins, fossils, tile and pottery works, sooks, tanneries, deserts, mountains, camel rides and food! The food is fantastic and they love to feed you. Bethany and the team were very helpful and timely with answers to our questions.

Close friends worked with Bethany to design our 2-week trip to Morocco. She was amazingly easy to work with, flexible and a good communicator. The trip was very organized and we were given plenty of detail ahead of time. One of our travel companions is a "foodie" and he made several changes to the schedule by suggesting different restaurants. No problem. The company handled it all smoothly. The riads and hotels were fabulous--interesting, safe, comfortable. Having our own driver, Zak, was a delight. (Especially once you see what driving is like in Morocco!) The tour was well designed in terms of us seeing so many of the beautiful and interesting sights of this country. This tour company certainly gives you what it promises.

After we discussed our trip desires, Morocco Tours prepared a customized itinerary for our 11 day tour, incorporating our requests. The trip ran very smoothly, thanks in large part to our driver/guide, Mohamed, who was friendly, polite, spoke excellent English and was a safe driver, with an immaculately clean mini van. The accommodations (Riads and hotels) all were lovely, well maintained, with friendly and helpful staff. The meals were fresh and tasty, although we had expected that fish would have been more available. We covered a lot of territory in 11 days, and enjoyed the entire trip, especially our time in the Sahara, but it was just not enough time to see everything.
