Archivist AIReviews of myarchivist.ai

Our campaign has been going for more than 7 years, and at one point we had 6+ player characters! With that many players, we often had sessions where a few players were missing. The Archivist made it so easy to share what happened in the missed session, and all we had to do was upload a recording! The Archivist listens to the recording, translates it perfectly, and summarizes everything that happened. Plus, it's got a useful journal for quests you postponed, a compendium, sick player cards, and more. Try it!

With 45+ years of roleplaying in my group, we have gotten lazier and lazier at keeping notes from session to session. And now with us playing in 2+ campaigns at the same time, the effort of taking notes is weighing us down. Archivist is FANTASTIC. It really does an amazing job! And they keep frequently updating it making it better and better.

The team at Archivist took an amazing idea and created a tool that’s incredibly useful and effective. I use it all the time and absolutely love its output. I’ve been using it for over a year now. It lets me focus on actually playing and running the game with my full attention and recaps everything and helps me create such a detailed and useful recap, analysis, and handout. The cost is definitely worth it, even without using image generation. they also keep coming out with the most fascinating improvements.

Archivist AI makes it so easy to keep everyone up to date on what’s happening in our campaign. It does a great job of documenting each session, including who did or said what. I especially like how it maintains an up-to-date summary of the entire campaign, along with individual summaries of each player’s actions. The only area I think needs improvement is its tendency to track minor or mundane details that don’t seem important, like a random ring. Overall, I love Archivist AI. It makes running my campaign 100 times easier!

A great tool, it has it's quirks and as with all AI tools it needs human supervision. But otherwise a great time saver for DM notes and they're constantly refining it and adding more features. Their exports to Foundry and Obsidian have been amazingly useful. Been using it for more than 120 sessions at this point and while it does stumble a little, the support for Archivist is very quick and responsive, overall would recommend highly.

This has been a life changer for an group of old D&D nerds. Additionally I'd like to highlight the response of the team. I had an issue importing some transcripts. I contacted the creators and within 48 hours they not only developed a fix for me but put it into production. I wasn't even a paying customer at the time. Good guys, good product.

Simply a 9/10 tool! + The summary features are great + The price is very reasonable + The toolkits around adjusting are decent + The integration with discord is near seamless in terms of commands, connecting to discord and authentication + There are many extra layers to the tooling that i never know i wanted, like speaker contribution analysis and helps me as a DM to focus on the players that slip through the cracks + The quality of the model used as of this date is good in my experience compared to some of the other tools i've tried - When multiple people speak through one microphone it gets very confused and mixes who said what - linking to the correct player could use an improvement in several ways

Everything they said they would offer has been offered, if not more. I've enjoyed all their features, and my party loves the extra help when it comes to note-keeping and staying on track with everything that happens in the campaign. Even when someone misses a session, Archivist helps them catch up extremely quickly. I have no complaints and hope they keep going with this idea. The community is small but HIGHLY appreciates everything the archivist team does. 10/10 keep it up!
