Bug free!
Colleagues of mine who do frequent field work recommended Nantucket Spider as an alternative to bug repellents containing deet. When I've worn the tick repellent I haven't had any ticks on my clothing! When I haven't, I have. So it must be working! I highly recommend Nantucket Spider products!

Both the tick spray and the general bug…
Both the tick spray and the general bug spray smell great and seem to be effective at keeping bugs away! I love that the product is all natural. HOWEVER one rather large caveat is that the bottle the sprays come in have a locking mechanism that is impossible to open, I actually broke both bottles trying to open them. No instructions given from manufacturer or on the bottle. I’m lucky I have a spray bottle I transferred it into.

I used the tick spray on my white Labradoodle. When I got back from my walk she had no less than 15 ticks on her. I was very disappointed.

Firstly, our President will reach out to you directly and we will issue a full refund. We are so sorry you were disappointed in our spray. A possible explanation for this is that during Spring, ticks lay large larvae nests. It is possible that your dog came in direct contact with a newly hatched nest. The good news is that newly hatched ticks are not born infected with disease, and our repellents are formulated to help protect against ticks attaching to the skin. When using our repellents, it is important to keep in mind that the formula is intended to repel bugs like mosquitos, biting flies, and ticks but also to protect against ticks attaching to skin when one comes into direct contact - thus introducing disease. When a dog or human comes in direct contact with ticks or tick nests, our formula breaks down the tick’s exoskeleton in order to keep it from attaching to skin. No repellent can stop ticks when direct contact is made. Again, we are so sorry you were disappointed and we will issue a full refund. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions, and our President will reach out to you directly. We greatly appreciate your feedback.
