This is the second time I used NY/NJ Great Moving & Storage; once in 2020 and again last month (Sept 2026). I couldn't recommend this team enough! My closing date changed 4 times, and the team was flexible with me and all the schedule changes. They took extreme care with all our household items and furniture, and were great to work with on moving day and communicative with their schedule; including arrival, estimated hours for the job, etc. It was raining out on our moving day, and they wrapped everything up to keep dry. This team is great, thank you for making moving the least of my worries during my first home buying experience. My appreciation to the entire team, thanks again!

The team at great movers did an amazing job. We had a lot of stuff to move from one tight space to another. They were efficient and careful and were so grateful. This was our second time working with them. Their quote was better than the other estimates we got, and it was accurate. If we ever have to move again, we'll definitely work with them.

They are terrible. DO NOT USE!!! So great over the phone those two middle-eastern dudes. Seemingly caring and professional with all their precautions to go over everything. Then, when they have all your furniture on a truck you'll be forced to pay three times the price!!! That's not the end of it. Stuff was left behind! They charged me extra for my Grandfather Clock and they broke it!!! Two months now back and forth about fixing it and nothing but false promises. They lied to me. They cheated me, and I'm missing things too! SO NOT USE!!! You were warned.

Fabio and Great Moving Company have handled three of our moves over the years, and every single one has been on time, on budget, and with not a single item damaged. That kind of consistency over multiple moves says a lot. What really sets Fabio apart, though, is how personable he is. He's genuinely friendly and easy to work with, and he has this tradition of taking a photo with clients to welcome them to their new home. My wife thinks it's the sweetest touch, and it's little things like that which make Fabio (and this company) stand out from the typical moving experience. If you want movers who are reliable, careful, and just good people to have in your home during a stressful process, I can't recommend Fabio and Great Moving Company enough.
