I bought a package from NWRA to support me with the state filing and establishment of company (a consulting firm). They completed the initial filing paperwork within the expedited timeline that I paid for, but since then their service has stalled and I've been repeatedly given timelines that they haven't adhered to. For example, the package includes development of a website landing page within 10 days (after sharing feedback to their questions). I submitted it on February 12, and as of March 9th I still have yet to be provided with the landing page. I requested a domain name swap (purchased the name elsewhere) and was told this would take 48 hours, yet still waiting almost a month later. They said 6 days ago they would provide an update by end of day, and still no update. At this point, I can't recommend this company and I'm extremely disappointed with their service. I suggest going with a more trustworthy company that is transparent in their services and respects customer service.

This service is good for LLC filing and compliance but upsells such as registering a trademark is beyond frustrating with inaccurate drafts and unresponsive or dismissive service. We eventually got a partial refund for multiple trademark filings and will use another firm. I strongly suggest a more customer focused law group that puts at least some effort into your project.

No response after multiple replies – filing stalled I have received the same automated email from Northwest Registered Agent several times requesting a new business name for my company. I responded more than three times with the requested information, yet I have received no confirmation or response from a real person. Because of this lack of communication, my filing appears to be completely stalled. I have also tried contacting them by email and phone, without success. At this point, I am concerned about the status of my filing and the lack of customer support. I am posting this review in hopes that someone from Northwest Registered Agent will finally review my case, confirm receipt of my responses, and resolve the issue. I am happy to resend the information if needed, but I need clear communication and confirmation.

Whenever I call Northwest Registered Agent, I have to leave a voicemail, and they consistently call me back after 5 p.m. local time, making it nearly impossible to connect with someone. Email communication is just as frustrating—every response comes from a different representative, so I constantly have to start over with my requests. Currently, I’m trying to domesticate an LLC, and it’s been a nightmare. I can’t get in touch with anyone, and my emails go unanswered. The lack of streamlined, straightforward communication is incredibly disappointing. It’s gotten to the point where I’m questioning whether they even know how to handle these filings properly. I’m seriously considering canceling their service and hiring a lawyer, which I was hoping to avoid. This service seemed like a simple, great solution, but the poor communication has made it far more stressful than it should be. For something as important as managing business matters, it’s frustrating to feel like I can’t rely on the service to resolve issues or even get in touch when needed.

First, super nice customer services team. The site user interface has some logic errors (at best poor explanation) that can be overcome using CS. What's frustrating is that even after spelling our company name correctly for them THREE times, our state official filing came back misspelled. And the pre-created documents from Northwest continue to perpetuate the misspelling. We paid $500-$600, so maybe my expectations were just too high. But I would not recommend to a friend.

The main reason I selected Northwest was their supposedly fantastic customer service. I'm still waiting for that customer service to appear. They do not answer the phone, they do not return calls, they do not respond to emails, and they do not apparently check their own emails because this afternoon, they wrote asking me for information that I had already sent the first time they asked for it this morning. I hope this is just an uncharacteristic lapse, and that things will improve from here on out. I would like to be able to update this review with something positive...but that's going to be up to them.

Disappointed in these folks. I used them as my RA for 3 years and they were fine, until I tried to use them to dissolve my company. They told me I'm required to file my state's (MD) annual report before they could dissolve my company; they refused to file the company dissolution until I filed and payed the annual report. However, both my attorney and the state of Maryland said that a business can be dissolved without filing the annual report. The reason this was problematic because filing the annual report and hiring Northwest to dissolve my company would have cost me hundreds of dollars! Having to close my business was hard enough, but to cause more financial stress by attempting to force me to pay for something that was totally unnecessary is egregious. I ended up filing a non-expedited dissolution myself for free. This is a shame, because Northwest does have friendly representatives, but giving advice that would needlessly cost a client hundreds of dollars is unforgivable. I respect the reviews of those who had more positive experiences, but I can't see me using them again.

I am very disappointed with this company. The price is good, but it's impossible to get anyone on the phone (tried three times), no matter how long you hang on. The documents I see in my library include some items completed, however only blank documents print out, despite downloading them and viewing them. I have questions before I can open the bank account or complete the paperwork for the NY department of taxation, but am unable to as I can't get in touch to get info. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. There must be 1-2 people taking calls. I've had far better luck getting the NY department of Taxation on the phone.
