Can't imagine having a better friend during the worst time of my life!
Imagine my surprise that after 27 years in business my trusted bookkeeper hadn't been paying State Sales Taxes. I had to find this out at a hearing that I thought was to discuss taxable vs non-taxable sales. Enter Omni Financial and Morgan Mance. Morgan was able to slow down the State Tax people from locking the doors and organize a payment plan that we could live with. At this time I had been reassured from my bookkeeper that that was all that hadn't been paid and she thought she could correct it herself over time. Morgan then strongly suggested that we check with IRS just as a precautionary check. Again, to my total surprise, we found out that Federal Withholding Taxes had not been paid. This time it appeared that I could not get a payment plan to work. I had lost my 27 years of effort. I was completely devastated, mad at the world and as angry as I have ever been. Once again Morgan to the rescue. She was able to keep me on task to try to get through the problems so that I could get back on track with my life. She and her staff handled all communications with the taxing authorities. If I had to do this things would have been said or done that I could not later take back. Every time I would start to bring back my anger Morgan would bring me back to the task at hand. We are currently trying to finalize my obligations or what may be the lack there of, regarding my tax obligations. I now feel that although up in my years, I may be getting back to a productive life. If there is a moral to this story I would submit that don't trust those who you've always felt you could trust but you can trust Omni Financial and Morgan Mance and her staff. It became very obvious early on that this was not there first case. They knew what they were doing and kept me informed. I continued to be very angry for obvious reasons and they continued to get me back on task. Thank you for your professional services and your friendship!
