Having seen all the positive reviews I feel very unlucky. I have had nothing but problems with the RX3000. Mainly with the wifi connectivity. I tested the unit at the office. Connected to the wifi, logged three temp sensors and they looked nicely calibrated. Installed it at site and it has been a pig from day 1. Wouldnt connect to the wifi network, spent hours trying to prove that the modem on site is working on 2.4ghz and 5ghz. The RX3000 will only connect to 2.4g. And you have to enter the SSID manually. Long and short of it is we had to install a GSM modem. Even then it drops constantly. We installed a $40 Watchman to prove that the connection is there. One of the sensors had an error and removed itself. Added it back and now it runs half the temp of the other sensors. The logging has unexplained down peaks and gaps in the graphs. All in all it is really poor for $5000. Onset are very reluctant to replace anything faulty. Update: That is inacurate from Gregg. The unit was never hit by an elevator. Fake news! :)

We are sorry that you have had difficulties with your RX3000. I have reviewed your case from our tech support records. There are several problems that have been noted with your installation. First, you have deployed the logger on its back facing up on what appears to be an I-beam, surrounded by metal on three sides in an elevator shaft. The logger shows damage to the case on the side where the antenna is mounted…damage reportedly caused by it being struck by the elevator. As you are aware the channel opening for the sensors is not sealed with the provided cable guide to protect the electronics from liquids or other debris from effecting the sensor connections or other electronics. We are also aware you are not connecting directly to a WiFi source, but rather you have a modem in-between. While this is not prohibited, it is not recommended for robust operation. Any one of these issues could lead to intermittent connections. Regarding the temperature discrepancies, we would encourage you to ice-bath test the temperature sensors to prove whether or not there is a sensor issue versus valid data showing something you did not expect to see. I see by the notes that you agreed to address the mounting orientation and add the channel guide for the cables. We are, and have been, happy to continue to work with you to address all of these issues. Sincerely, Gregg 508-743-3141

The sales rep was very helpful in putting my order together. Everything was shipped quickly. I also appreciated that they managed to fit everything into a relatively small box.

The data interface is not good. You should be able to erase the data with a button instead of it doing it in the background when starting to record. The memory size is way too small especially for the price. External storage should also be an option.
