We recently returned from a trip to Egypt and Jordan and couldn’t have a better time. The accommodations were exceptional and the Osiris staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The tour guides took very good care of us answering all of our questions, providing local color while we toured the Pyramids, Luxor and Petra. I highly recommend Osiris Tours if you want a wonderful trip.

My husband and I had the most wonderful trip to Egypt and Jordan with Osiris tours! Every aspect of the trip was seamlessly taken care of from the moment I originally reached out to Mahmoud for an inquiry. Egypt had been a bucket-list destination for us, but we weren't quite sure how to go about planning. Osiris took out all of the guess work, and we truly didn't need to worry about a thing. The local guides and drivers were so friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to answer all of our questions, and really tailor the experience to our interests. We were with Ahmed in Cairo and Mahmoud (Hotep) in the south. Both guides were incredible! I would love to travel with Osiris again in the future! If you have been dreaming of going to Egypt, you are in good hands with Mahmoud and his team!

We booked a trip with Osiris Tours in February, 2026 to Egypt and I highly recommend their services, especially if you know the specific sites you want to visit. The “out of the box” tours might take you places you really don’t want to go and/or partake in activities that you really don’t want to do… they are hard or impossible to personalize. Osiris Tours lets you customize your tours from the ground up. All local transportation is provided in private vehicles with English speaking drivers, not tour busses. Your guides through the tombs and monuments are English speaking Egyptologists. For planning and booking, we worked with Mahmoud Gebril who had been born and raised in Egypt and was absolutely delightful and professional. Additionally, he has first hand knowledge of the sites, the terrain, and the culture. No matter what time of day I’d send him a coordination email, he was quick to respond. He works hard to keep his customers happy and really gets into the details for your personal tour. We couldn’t have been his only clients, but he sure treated us like we were. Thanks, Mahmoud!

Our Osiris tour was our first time using a personal guide service. It was worth every penny and more. We are seasoned travelers, used to doing things on our own. However, just a few minutes in Cairo and we were so glad for all that Mahmoud had provided for us. Seamless arrival at CAI, luxurious vans to transport everywhere. You do NOT want to drive in Egypt, but you can certainly enjoy the traffic carnival from aforementioned vans. Beautiful 5 star hotels with lovely, friendly staff made every overnight stay a blissful experience. Breakfasts were always a feast of foods, Egyptian, Indian, and continental. All hotels had a nice selection of top notch restaurants to choose from. Historical site tours, led by knowledgeable guides Marwa in Cairo/ Giza and Khalaf in Luxor, were educating and enjoyable. Visits to a rug weaving college and an alabaster sculpting workshop in Giza; and a gold/silver shop and incredible spice shop in Luxor were interesting. Mahmoud does a wonderful job of scheduling your time, moving you easily from one location to the next. He is also very responsive to all questions. Please do not fear visiting Egypt. It is a stable country, with beautiful, friendly people who really appreciate your tourist dollars.

We had a wonderful trip using Osiris. Everything went smoothly and well. The guides, drivers, airport assist teams were all excellent. We had a 24 hour contact which was very reassuring to us. The guides were flexible and always willing to accomodate our requests. The accomodations were excellent. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Osiris.

We just finished an amazing 8-day family trip to Jordan planned by Osiris Tours, and we are blown away by the service. The planning was easy, and they happily customized our itinerary to give us more time in Wadi Rum, which was a highlight for us. We visited Amman/The Citadel, Jerash, Mount Nebo/Madaba, Petra, Wadi Rum, and the Dead Sea. They handled every logistic—hotels, guides, and drivers—so we could just relax and enjoy the trip. Our driver was wonderful, helping us make small adjustments on the fly, and the hotels they booked were top-notch with great food. We felt safe and well taken care of the entire time! Traveling with two teens can be tricky, but Osiris made it effortless. We highly recommend them and will absolutely use them again.

Our first trip with Osiris Tours to Egypt in 2018 was a life changing experience and never really faded from our minds. Being a bit of an ancient Egypt geek, I knew I wanted to return and the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum was the catalyst. It didn't take much to convince my wife. We just spent the past year battling a life-threatening illness, so a just reward was due. We contacted Mahmoud Gebril again and after a few e-mails, we crafted an 8-day tour that allowed us to revisit some favorite sites and add some new ones. Mr. Gebril is a master of his craft so we knew we would experience another excellent trip. We also had a request that was honored. We requested that our 2018 expert guide, Hajj Sayed (Bazuka), would guide us again through another magical journey that would enhance our many travel memories. Sayed is the very best travel partner on the planet and one of the most intelligent. It was great to see him again! From the moment we landed in Cairo, we were taken care of like royalty. George was there to greet us and handled the visa, passport control, luggage, etc. George is a great front man for Osiris and thankfully we would see him again during the trip. Our driver in Cairo, Hamsa, adroitly navigated the chaos that is Cairo and safely delivered us to our destinations. After two days in Cairo, we flew to Luxor where the affable Ahmed met us at the airport and got us settled at the hotel. Our driver in Luxor was Mohammad who was also excellent. Sayed guided us in Luxor for four days that included trips to the Valley of the Kings/Queens, Ramesseum, Abydos and Dendera, Luxor/Karnak Temples, Luxor Museum, felucca ride, etc. Our last two days in Cairo ended with a visit to the magnificent Grand Egyptian Museum. What a way to complete another life-altering tour with Osiris Tours. Osiris met or exceeded all expectations. We can't thank or recommend them enough.
