I ordered an Osmo HushWave for €89.99 after seeing it advertised as a premium noise-cancelling headphone with features including Bluetooth 6.0, LDAC Hi-Res Audio, advanced ANC, app-based EQ functions and various AI features. What I actually received does not appear to match the product presented in Osmo's advertising. The headphones I received identify themselves via Bluetooth as “VJE35 ANC”. They also do not look like the HushWave shown in the product images Osmo sent me – including, ironically, the product image in the email asking me to leave a review. Several of the advertised HushWave features are also not identifiable or usable on the headphones I received. I contacted Osmo immediately after receiving the product and requested a return and full refund. I was first offered a 25% refund if I kept the headphones. After declining that offer, I was offered a 50% refund if I kept them. When I declined again, Osmo agreed to a full refund but told me that I would have to return the headphones to the UK at my own expense. I then asked Osmo to confirm whether the “VJE35 ANC” I received is actually the advertised Osmo HushWave and, if not, to provide a prepaid return label. At Osmo's request, I sent photos of the headphones, packaging and manual, as well as a screenshot showing the Bluetooth identification “VJE35 ANC”. Osmo has now told me that the matter is with its “review team”. I am still waiting for an answer to the very simple question of whether the headphones I received are actually the product I ordered. I will update this review when Osmo provides its final response. Update/status – 10 September 2026: No clarification, no prepaid return label and no refund so far.
