I was in the market for just a diamond and not a complete setting. A very close friend of mine suggested I reach out to McGivern Jewelers as an option to a local jeweler. From the beginning I was a little skeptical due to the fact I was paying a lot of money for something I was not able to see or hold. Mike presented me some options in the beginning based on price, but none of them met my diamond quality requirements. Within price budget, I ask Mike to find me the best possible diamond. I could not believe he had located exactly what I was looking for within my budget range. When I received the stone, I took it to my local jeweler in order to find an acceptable mount. When the jeweler confirm the GIA number matching the report, his comment was the diamond was the most perfect stone he had seen and was absolutely gorgeous. Mike was very easy to work with and was very prompt in returning emails or v-mails and comes highly recommended. I suggest you search BBB rating and anywhere else and you will see why he has been in business for a very long time.

Mike and Jim, Good morning. I would like to recognize 1 of your employees, Chris, for her exemplary customer service this past Thursday early afternoon. I had brought my gold-tone St. Benedict crucifix pendant in to your place of business, thinking that the clasp needed to be looked at, and possibly, replaced. Chris had identified the issue as being a thread of a bath towel being caught inside the clasp. She had then steamed the thread out, saw that the clasp had no issue(s), and gave the crucifix pendant back to me, at no charge. All of this was done while I had waited, and Chris even briefly left the store to give me back the crucifix pendant (I was illegally parked, and was looking for an open parking space). I am a retired marketing / salesperson, and to receive such great treatment really resonated with me. My wife Lisa (nee Rava) and I bring all of our jewelry-related business to McGivern Jewelers, and will continue to recommend you to our families and friends. I managed to break the setting on my diamond engagement ring. McGivern did a fantastic job on the repair--it looks brand new. Even though I no longer live in the Toledo area, I purchased a center stone diamond and had my diamonds remounted by them for a total of four rings over the years. The prices were reasonable, they are completely trustworthy, and they stand behind everything that they sell.

McGivern Jewelers has made two custom rings for me over the years and they are both stunning. They can make anything your heart desires and they are a pleasure to work with. Mike and staff always provide excellent customer service. I won't go anywhere else for unique, custom jewelry.

I fell in love with earrings on another site. Indulging myself would have been outrageously extravagant. Michael copied them for about half the other jeweler's price with no compromise in quality. They are exquisite and I am thrilled with.them.
