The products are good and reliable. Detracting from the experience was the delivery issues they had at the time I ordered. Otherwise a good, reliable product.

Lifetime
As i already mentioned, the functionality is good, but the live time of my first card didn`t exeed 2 years. So its good to have a rechargeable card, but bad if you don`t need to charge because its breaking after the first recharge...
Response from Pebblebee· Sep 22, 2026
Hello,
Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re happy to hear you found the Card’s functionality useful, though we’re sorry it didn’t last as long as you expected. We understand the frustration of having a rechargeable device stop working, and we appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback with us.
Best,
Luci.

Other Pebble bees have been helpful…
Other Pebble bees have been helpful I've had one that would not recharge and I could not get to connect no matter what I did. When I reached out to the company they sent me back an email assuring me that they would get back to me which took several days. They'll get back to me required me to find the original receipt, which I did not have and to send in a picture of the item that I could not get to reconnect. None of that was possible under the circumstances. I found it incredibly difficult to get any help from the company that was going to be useful.
I do however have several other trackers and they've worked great. One of them found my jacket in Rome airport. Another time my phone was misplaced in Santa Fe and that tracking device helped me find it specifically in a garbage can.
I do like Pebblebee and just I bought a new tag. Real people answering a phone there for help, not just email, and doing business with the public would be certainly helpful.

Hi JC,
First, thank you for sharing your experience and for being a longtime Pebblebee customer. We're genuinely glad to hear that your other trackers have served you well over the years. Stories like yours are exactly why we build these products.
At the same time, we're sorry to hear that your previous warranty experience felt frustrating. We understand that being asked for a receipt and photos can feel like an obstacle when you're already dealing with a device that isn't working properly. Those requests aren't meant to make the process difficult; they're part of the basic requirements we need in order to verify warranty eligibility and ensure we're handling claims fairly and consistently for all customers. We understand that these details aren't always available, but without them, our ability to approve a warranty replacement is unfortunately very limited.
We also want to assure you that when you contact Pebblebee, you're communicating with real people on our support team. While we currently provide support primarily through email rather than phone, that choice is intentional. Many technical issues require troubleshooting steps, screenshots, photos, firmware details, and detailed instructions that are often easier to share and reference in writing. Email also allows us to keep a complete record of the troubleshooting process so nothing gets missed and you don't have to repeat information if the case needs follow-up.
That said, your feedback about wanting more immediate, conversational support is valuable, and we'll make sure it's shared with the team. Thank you as well for continuing to choose Pebblebee despite the frustration you experienced. We value both your business and your honesty, and we're always looking for ways to improve the support experience.
Kind regards,
The Pebblebee Team.

We bought these to use at our seasonal
We bought these to use at our seasonal campground and I loved that they were rechargeable and android can use them. Buuuut they only work with Bluetooth. So they do not work unless the kids are in range of my phone. Useless where we're at and what we wanted to use them for, I'm sure they're great for other uses but not for what I needed. Will be returning.
Response from Pebblebee· Jul 14, 2026
Hello Anna,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're sorry to hear our trackers weren't the right fit for your intended use.
As you mentioned, Pebblebee devices use Bluetooth to communicate with nearby Android phones participating in the Google Find Hub network. When a tracker is outside your phone's Bluetooth range, its location can still be updated if it's detected by another compatible Android device in the network.
We completely understand that, for monitoring children around a large seasonal campground, a dedicated GPS tracker may be a better solution. We appreciate you giving Pebblebee a try, and we hope you find a product that's a better match for your needs. If you have any questions about the return process, our support team will be happy to help.
Best regards,
The Pebblebee Team.

On paper these devices look great
On paper these devices look great and I placed an order for a family pack on the 28th Jan, fully expecting it would be dispatched in 1-2 days (maybe arrive with me a few days later)
Dispite promises of the order being dispatched it never moved from 'Processing' and by 8th Feb I decided I couldn't wait any longer as I was going away (no point in them being sent when nobody would be home).
I would have loved to try the devices, but the issues with delivery made me loose confidence in the long term reliability of Pebblebee.
I have scored 3 out of 5 simply because they did cancel the order and processed a full refund when asked, but the only reliable way to do this was to wait for the online chat to become available and to log it with Paypal.

Dear Jonathan,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, we truly appreciate it.
This was a very unfortunate situation and not representative of how we normally operate. During that time, our shipping partner had to unexpectedly relocate to a new facility, and the transition temporarily delayed order processing. Unfortunately, your order was among those affected, and we apologize again for any inconvenience caused.
What makes the timing especially unfortunate is that all delayed orders were processed the day after your cancellation request. We completely understand how frustrating that must have been, especially with travel plans coming up.
As soon as operations resumed, we upgraded all impacted shipments to priority service at no additional cost to help make up for the inconvenience. And of course, when you requested a cancellation, we ensured a full refund was issued promptly.
While the circumstances were outside of our direct control, we fully recognize that the experience fell short. As a company, we strive for everything to run smoothly at all times, but behind every company are people, and occasionally unexpected operational challenges arise. What matters most to us is how we respond, and we took immediate steps to resolve the issue and prevent it from happening again.
We genuinely appreciate your honest feedback, and we truly hope we’ll have the chance to provide you with the experience you originally expected in the future.
Best regards and safe travels,
The Pebblebee Team.

Great idea, great build, but not ready for Android yet.
I've been using the Pebblebee Tag for a few weeks now, and while it has potential, it's currently not the best choice for Android users.
What I liked:
The hardware is excellent. It's small, sleek, and comes with a rechargeable battery via USB-C — a big plus compared to disposable battery trackers.
The built-in LED and loud buzzer make it easy to find nearby items, even in the dark or under cushions.
iPhone users will appreciate that it integrates with Apple’s Find My network out of the box, offering reliable location tracking even when the tag is out of Bluetooth range.
Where it falls short:
The big issue is with Android support. While Pebblebee has announced future compatibility with the new Google Find My Device network, that update still hasn't arrived, and there's no clear timeline on when or if it will.
In the meantime, Android users are stuck with the standalone Pebblebee app — and that means no meaningful crowd-finding. If your tag is out of range, it’s invisible unless another rare user nearby also has the app installed and running.
This makes the tag pretty much useless for remote tracking unless you're on iOS.
Verdict:
This could eventually become a great cross-platform tracker. But, until the promised Google network support is live, I can't recommend it for Android users. It’s a well-made device, but right now, it’s missing the software support that truly matters.

Hi Tolis,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for recognizing the care we put into our product design. We understand your frustration with Android support, especially during the early stages of the Google Find My Device (FMD) rollout, now known as the Find Hub Network (FHN).
Pebblebee Tags are fully compatible with the Find Hub network, and the recent improvements to the network have already made a noticeable difference for many users. Continued enhancements are on the way, and we’re working closely with Google to support that momentum.
We also recognize that reviews like yours can impact our overall rating, even when the core issue lies outside our control. That said, we appreciate your honesty and your early support. If you'd like help optimizing your experience or staying informed on the latest network updates, our team is here at [email protected].

Pebblebee - let down by Google Find My Device
The Pebblebee device works well provided you're nearby and can connect to it via Bluetooth. The alarm sound is loud and the light works well. Good that it's rechargeable.
Unfortunately if you're not within Bluetooth range then the Pebblebee is effectively useless. It's hamstrung by the Google Find My Device app which needs multiple android devices to be nearby simultaneously before it will give a location.
Until Google change the default settings on the Find My Device app so that the default is 'with network in all areas' on all android phones then Pebblebee and similar devices just won't live up to their full potential.

Hi John,
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review. We're glad to hear you appreciated the hardware quality, the loud alarm, the LED light, and the fact that it’s rechargeable.
You're absolutely right about the limitations tied to the early rollout of Google’s Find My Device network. While Pebblebee is fully compatible with the network, its performance depends on how widely the network is enabled across Android devices. As of now, many Android phones still have the setting turned off by default, which can limit real-world performance.
We understand that this affects your experience and, in turn, our rating as a company, even though the core issue is related to a third-party platform. We’re continuing to work closely with Google as the network evolves, and we’re seeing improvements in coverage and reliability over time.
We appreciate your early support and feedback. If you’d like help optimizing your device or staying up to date on network improvements, our team is always here at [email protected].
