Waiting room is way too small for…
Waiting room is way too small for number of people permitted in it considering the Covid virus. Was under impression employee would not know nature of tests requested, but she insisted on my telling her such.

The only information the lab staff needs is that your order is for routine lab work and can be looked up in the main lab computer system, this is covered in your order email in detail. We provide this information to avoid situations just like the one you have described. We're sorry to hear the visit to the collection site was not up to our standards. Terrible & Awful!
Pointless to make an appointment if they’re going to make you wait for an hour. Pointless to make things privately if they’re going to put your name on the tv screen and called you by your name out loud in front of everyone. Pointless to make things on the web if the phlebotomist doesn’t know why are you there for and you have to tell her in a open cubicle where everyone can hear the test you’re there for!

Thank you for reaching out to us. Although we are a separate company from Quest, we take all instances were there are concerns about patient experience at the collection site seriously. Your order confirmation email included the exact verbiage to provide the lab staff so no issues or questions arise at the collection site. The names on the waiting list do not include full last names or other personally identifiable information, it is simply used to provide the wait time; this is standard at all collection sites. Your order confirmation email also includes a link to check live wait times before submitting samples. Our director of patient services will reach out to you in private, as we would like the opportunity to get more information about your visit so we may file a formal report with Quest as this is not typical of our testing experience.
