I was caught in an unfair situation after many years of trust in a marriage being broken. I spoke with Darrin Giglio several times and used his many years of knowledge and expertise for surveillance. Darrin Is a true professional and is available throughout the investigation. I leaned on Darrin and his team several times, in sporadic and contiguous surveillance. Locally and afar, in my case nothing was found but each time information was sent over in real time. My issue has been put to rest for now, but I will lean on Darrin again in the future. Thanks for handling a sensitive matter professionally with discretion. I thoroughly recommend Darrin and NAI.

This company literally regurgitated the…
This company literally regurgitated the same information that I gave them during the intake. I paid them over $2600 upfront. They responded by copying and pasting my intake details and emailed it back to me as their "findings". NAI is dishonest and unprofessional. So much so that they misled me into believing an authentic investigation would take place. Looking back, I should have suspected that NAI wasn't a reputable company. They have less than 10 reviews. Their yelp has a total of four reviews. I also suspect that the handful of reviews are from NAI's family and friends.
NAI did no investigation whatsoever. After receiving over $2000, NAI copied and pasted my findings, that they asked me during an interview “give us as many details as possible”. And handed it back to me. Then they dodged my emails. Stating that they were “still investigating”.
And drumroll please, although I’m a woman, he refers to me as a male in various emails. As “Mr”. A telltale sign that they never pursued an investigation. NAI only recalled that I was a woman after rereading my request from the intake interview. NAI preyed on this survivor of stalking for monetary gain. Victimizing me a second time. NAI and its employees knew that they had no interest or skills to pursuing an investigation. NAI, run by Darren Giglio ignored all my calls and emails for months. Until I posted a review. They insisted that they were still conducting its investigation. Which was a blatant lie. NAI violated me a third time by revealing why I sought an investigator. It’s sick that he couldn’t recall that after receiving compensation in advance.. Steer clear of NAI. See attached.

You were sent your Report of Investigation on 5/22/19 of what we were paid to do. After the receiving the Report you emailed other requests which were outside the scope of the paid investigation.
I am sorry to read this review and I want the opportunity to explain what transpired. You hired us for two separate investigations: one on 5/3 and one on 5/6
1. First Investigation : We spoke on May 3rd you explained that a two separate men where you reside have been stalking, harassing and making your life difficult. You were told by these people that a young girl who was promiscuous lived there before you (at least 9 years ago) and they ran her out. You wanted to try to find her to see if you could corroborate if she experienced this same behavior against you as you had a small claims case since the Police would not help you.
I explained that there were two ways of investigating the matter, the first was conducting an internal investigation in an effort to see if we could identify this particular female. The second option was to conduct field work which would comprise of canvassing, locating and speaking to possible witnesses as well as numerous other related services. You opted to start with the first option. I not only verbally explained to you prior to taking your payment that this was difficult due to the age and limited information but put this in our written agreement which you signed prior to remitting payment. I was extremely clear. Additionally, the people who told you there was this female were people you believed were acting against you, This information provided to may have been all false. We investigated the matter and located many prior tenants but none matching the criteria you gave us. I understand that what you have experienced is frustrating to say the least but we did put the time and effort into investigating the matter. We updated you, we provided you a report. We did not solve the investigation but at no time did we act unprofessional nor dishonest with you, as a matter of fact you always thanked us after to speaking with us and we did not even know you were upset until we saw this review. I would of been more than happy to discuss any of your feelings and the investigation.
2. You hired us again on 5/6. The second investigation was to conduct two background checks to uncover to determine if these individuals possessed a criminal record. We conducted the NY Statewide search as agreed and provided you the results in addition to the other information we obtained. You requested and paid us to conduct these searches in which we did. If you already possessed the same information that has no bearing on what we did. You asked us to conduct the checks and we did. We get paid for our time and efforts.
Again, I am sorry for what you have stated you have been experiencing but we conducted exactly what was discussed and clearly agreed to in writing. Moreover, I called you a few time with the calls never being returned. After reading this I hope understand that at no time were we unprofessional or dishonest with you as a matter of fact I feel we treated you with respect and understanding. I am open to speaking with you on a call. I do not want any client to feel upset but I laid out the expectations clearly and fulfilled what was agreed to.

I retained North American…
I retained North American Investigations after hours of due diligence and research. I had a unique situation that called for an experienced, flexible and more importantly reliable/creditable firm. I spoke with friends and family and believe it or not nobody had a knew anybody knew anyone that was reliable. So long story short, i went with online reviews and that why im taking the time to pay it forward and even write a review. North American Investigations was one of the three companies i called and right out of the gate the choice was clear. I initial spoke with Darrin and from the beginning he not only had all the right answers, he asked the right questions where i knew we was highly experienced and knowledgeable in his field of expertise. We went over the time sensitive situation and quoted me and we were off to the races...! Very few times in this world do people "do what they say/say what they do" and even fewer times do people "under promise and over delivered". This was the situation where Darrin accomplished both. I couldn't be happier with the high level of communication and the ability of this firm to be malleable and adapt to quick changing unpredictable situations. The turn around time for the project was uncanny and i highly recommend these guys to anyone in need of investigative services. 5 Stars all around couldnt be happier ! Will use again

Never settle for less-- hire the best!
I needed an investigation to confirm my suspicions about my girlfriend's loyalty to our relationship. I shopped around, but what I wanted most was competence and the assurance I would get the results I needed to lay my suspicions to rest. I was going through the most difficult…
I was going through the most difficult and confusing time in my life and I’m very happy I met Darrin during this time. When I suspected my wife was having an affair he and his team conducted a thorough and detailed investigation and quickly led me to the details and evidence. But what was truly more impressive was the psychological coaching and immense time that Darrin personally dedicated to me with hours on the phone in how to best approach her with the information in a strategic way to get her to admit everything, details and come back and show remorse in the way that I had hoped she would. I would never have been so on track to getting the outcome that I wanted without Darrin’s guidance.

I am sorry to hear how you feel although I really believe there was a miscommunication. I take detailed notes when I have a consultation with a potential client and would like to respond to your review in an effort to clear up any misunderstandings. I certainly do not want you nor any potential client to be upset with their experience with us.
The other day, you and I had a 4 1/2 minute conversation in which you stated that you have an upcoming custody case in court. You further explained you had full custody of your child for the past 6 years and the father has not seen or been in the child's life since the child was born in the hospital.
I stated that although the father has not been in the child's life all this time the court will still hear him out, regardless of that fact and it "may be possible" he is awarded some custody right or visitation.
You told me he is trying to gain "sole custody" of the child. My advice was to to fight it and try to go to court armed with evidence that may help you. I asked some follow up questions but you did not know anything about him.
I explained about our services and what I though may be beneficial to your case. I said since you don't know him we should identify him, conduct a background check and conduct surveillance in an effort to uncover any reasons or negative behaviors that may exist why he would not be fit as a parent. I stated if you go to court without evidence it is possible he may get some partial custody or visitation. You should go to court armed with as much evidence "if it exists" to help your case.
You stated "If I don't know anything about him how does the court know anything about him?". I explained that unfortunately, you are not the only person in the court system that has this type of scenario.
You kept saying that he is a parent that has not been around or in the child's life, I agreed that this may not work in his favor however you just do not know how the court will make it's decision. I additionally explained that this is not the first time I have heard this scenario and many unforeseen things can happen in court. Moreover, I explained that courts "in general" believe that a child's both parents have right to their children, "unless there is a reason otherwise".
You then stated he is "legally gave up his rights" and I retorted that "this may be a legal issue". I immediately asked "did you hire a lawyer?" you replied "I don't have the pockets for that" I replied, then you are not going to have a budget for an investigation and you hung up the phone on me. For some reason this upset you but I was not able to finish my statement, which was any money would be best used for a lawyer for your situation. I was in no way trying to upset you, so that is where I believe the misunderstanding was. This was the exact opposite of what you think, I thought a lawyer would be better suited for you than an investigator from what you explained.
During the entire conversation, I not once asked you for any money, discussed any actual fees nor tried to sell you anything. In fact, if I was not hung-up on my advice would have been NOT to hire us, but to get an attorney to represent you, so I am unsure why you felt any sales pressure.
I am sorry that you are going through a scary process involving your child, but I was trying to help you with the best advice I could give you. Not once in the call was I discourteous or even discussed a sale. I hope you reconsider the review. Either way, I wish you the best and hope your court case decision is in your favor.
