Quizlet is a lightning fast way to memorize vocabulary lists. It's like flashcards, but much more fun and interactive.

I almost feel bad about giving this site such a low rating since I've been on it for years but now it's not really any good anymore. The learn feature is gone, and they moved the write mode into learn so that's gone too. Plus, they completely got rid of gravity, not even behind a paywall, it's completely gone. (At least, the button is. You can still change the URL and switch it to gravity mode from there) Their reasoning is that the mode wasn't used much so they wanted to focus on the main modes, but they could have just left it alone for people who liked to use it. Now all I can do is match words and do boring flashcards. Quizlet isn't fun anymore and I think I'm just gonna move on to Anki. Anki isn't all that fun either but at least I can actually learn the words. Plus, gravity was the only unique thing about quizlet so now that that's gone, I can switch over without thinking that I'm missing anything. I'm annoyed so I'm tempted to give it one star but since the site isn't completely worthless, I'll give it two stars. I might raise it to 3 stars if gravity mode comes back

This was a good study tool. However, these people keep charging my credit. I’ve had to cancel my card just to get rid of these scammers!!!

Used to be a good website, now everything besides the flash cards is behind a paywall. A paywall is a ridiculous concept as majority of the user base are students, who don't have reoccurring income. The flashcards, while somewhat useful, are nothing what Quizlet used to be. And while locking everything else behind the paywall, they have the audacity to still distract with with ads, either on the margins of the page or straight up interrupting your experience. Better to just use pen and paper to make flashcards and not give them the ad revenue.

It used to be mostly free but recently they put half the features behind a paywall. The main reason schools use Quizlet is the "learn" option. It was free before, but now it is not. They retroactively paywalled half of their features.

Quizlet used to be a go-to to assist my students; now with the paidwall it's become absolutely useless. Please revert this change.
