We’re sorry the service did not meet your expectations. When network instability was reported, we requested basic diagnostics such as timestamps, MTR, packet-loss, and speed-test results so we could identify whether the issue originated from our network, routing, the operating system, software, configuration, or another external factor. RackNode provides unmanaged hosting and we do not log into a customer’s operating system without authorization. We respect customer privacy, which is why diagnostics from inside the affected server are sometimes necessary when investigating an individual connectivity issue. During the service period, approximately 1 TB of bandwidth was used, confirming that the service was actively utilized. This does not by itself prove that no intermittent issue occurred, which is precisely why we requested additional diagnostics. Before the investigation could be completed, immediate cancellation was requested and the service was terminated accordingly. We continuously work to provide a stable and reliable network and take network reports seriously.
