My grandson had a great start in Kindergarten. He was one of the first to learn the words for the year. He was able to sound out his letters with ease. He didn't struggle at all. Great start. Loves and proud that he can read. He doesn't shy away from any word, he'll keep sounding it out till he gets it. Well worth every penny. My granddaughter started second grade and is ahead in reading. She has had 3 years at the Reading Inst. However the second year she went, the teacher didn't seem to have enough patience with her. First and third year were great. She is ADHD and the teachers should be taught how to handle those children. Her third year teacher was awesome, he said he loved her enthusiasm. All teachers need to be like him.

I loved the class and so did my daughter. My only complaint is that it is pricey and while I can afford it, it limits the opportunities for other students to attend.

The combination of classroom exposure, computer assignments and age-appropriate and very attractive books, is excellent. Within a few weeks my grandson became an avid reader...and he hasn’t stopped. We’re looking forward to this year’s course..

Our daughter has always struggled with reading and it was never her favorite thing to do. After attending this program over the past 3 summers, her reading comprehension and skills have improved tremendously, not to mention that she's reading for FUN now!! Would strongly recommend this program to anyone with a child that struggles with reading.
