On time and as promised

I ordered the Welch allyn suretemp thermometer and paid expedited shipping for it to arrive sooner since my husband was scheduled to get chemotherapy one week later. I received a call the following day informing me that it is on back order and won’t be available until the following week but should arrive on the day my husband is expected to be discharge. It didn’t arrive until the following week and had to use the mercury thermometer that I had. My husband was febrile for a week and would have benefited from a more accurate thermometer. It is a costly equipment and I was very disappointed that it did not arrived as promised.
