We never requested any password changes, yet we were permanently locked out and never able to regain access. They also put the domain up for sale, even though we had already paid for its renewal in July. Now Dynadot is selling the domain because Register99 allowed it to expire. And most recently, they impersonated the company's brand and displayed a red webpage for approximately four days, falsely stating that the company had permanently shut down, USING THE COMPANY'S OWN LOGO. They have the audacity to respond to this review as if they had done nothing wrong, despite knowing exactly what they did. We have screenshots and documented evidence proving that everything I am stating is true. You will be facing legal consequences for your actions. ------------------- Original The worst service company I have ever dealt with. I am a developer for a large company, and one of our clients came to us with a website hosted on this platform. Their policies are abusive, and they charge customers ridiculous amounts of money without any reasonable justification. We tried to transfer the domain away from them, and they charged us $300 just to release the EPP code and remove the Domain Lock. Their policies did not state that this fee was required to transfer a domain out; instead, the fee appeared to apply to transferring a domain into their platform. We had to wait an entire year before we were finally able to move the domain, and even then, we still had to pay simply to obtain the EPP code and have the Domain Lock removed. They do not allow you to properly manage DNS settings, and they do not provide access to the website's file system. Terrible platform and an extremely frustrating experience.
