RockIT Repairs started in December of 2012 in a small room at the George Washington Executive Center in downtown Fredericksburg. Quickly the demand for our repair services grew and we relocated to the 2,000 square foot facility at 1319 Lafayette Boulevard in March of 2013. We now service over 1000+ customers a month through our current location.

The repairs have held! My older model Kindle Fire is still useful! I was very pleased with the repair, how quickly and safely my device was returned to me, and the efficiency of the repairs. Thank you!!

Left a relatively new Lenovo touch screen computer with them for months. Needed the touch screen replaced. They installed a non-touch screen and tried to give that to us. We asked for them to install a touch screen. After several more months they called and said come get it because they couldn't fix it. They had the computer for about 8 months. They left the non-touch screen in place, but it did not work. It was so dim it couldn't be seen. By the time we got it to another shop, they could no longer get parts for it, but they were able to make the new non-touch screen work. They were always polite and friendly. They might be OK fixing cell phone screens.

Candace, I am very sorry that you had an issue with your laptop screen repair. Touch screen laptops are very finicky when it comes to replacement parts and that is no excuse the delay in parts arrival. The issue most of the time we find is that these only come from China and take 2-3 weeks to arrive. I wanted to get back to you as I am working to create a better customer experience for our customers. I would like to offer you a 50% discount on any future laptop screen replacement and will ensure that this issue does not arise again. My name is Jonathan Hawkins, I am the owner and I will be happy to do whatever it takes to turn your experience into a more positive one. If you need anything at all please do not hesitate to contact me directly at 540-412-8824 and again I am sorry you had this experience. I look forward to get the opportunity to make it right when given. Jonathan Hawkins - Owner 540-412-8824

RockIT held on to my device for 3 weeks with no call. When I went back in they said they "couldn't figure it out" and gave it back to me. (I was using them as the local repair shop for my Square Trade warranty.) They also hadn't tried one really obvious work-around to narrow down the problem. The person at the counter was completely clueless, mainly because the repair tech had given him very little info on the paperwork to go by. So, I went to plan B and shipped it to the Square Trade repair shop, who repaired and returned it within ONE WEEK. So much for trying to support local businesses.

John, I am sorry that we could not fix your laptop. We are generally successful on most repairs but these types of things do arise in this business. This is not an excuse but we only want to fix our customers device as this is what keeps us in business. I will discuss with our staff and figure out what the communication gap was with the person at the counter, as this is not how we would like to operate. I would like to offer you a discount on any future repair and would like you to contact me directly to discuss this issue and how we can make for a better experience in the future. My name is Jonathan Hawkins and I am the owner and will personally ensure that this does not happen again. Thank you again for taking the time to review and help our business grow into the best it can be. Jonathan Hawkins - Owner RockIT Repairs

I was pleased my Kindle port could be repaired as I didn't want to purchase a new Kindle. It was repaired several months ago and is working great. Thanks so much.
