Rogue Amoeba SoftwareReviews of rogueamoeba.com

I have used Amoeba Software Fission en Audio Hijack for many, many years now. Never had an issue, worked like a charm. They're great little tools that I've always found incredibly useful helping me transfer audio between many different applications and formats. It is clear that this software is build with love and thought. So what prompted my review? I ran into an issue with Audio Hijack not doing what it should – hijacking audio – and needed support. Robert provided me with prompt, friendly and clear support that solved the issue in no time. It turns out that OSX has some well hidden audio settings that affect how things work that I didn't even remember existed. So not only a proven track record of well functioning software, but great support too? Yeah that's a five star review well earned...

I've been using Rogue Amoeba products for years and they just can't be beat. They work well and address specific needs that no one else is focused on. I recently bought a new computer and moving everything over was seamless. Even started using more programs that I had bought and never tried!

I've been using Rogue Amoeba Software for a decade+ and had to switch laptops yesterday but ran into difficulty reloading and rebooting; my email was answered by a support person with a name (thanks, Aaron) and the helpful suggestion I needed (tactfully correcting my oversight). The software is intuitive, ergonomic and high fidelity; 5 stars. The support gets its own 5 stars. That makes it a ten!

Wow! I have always loved their products, and have used airfoil for many years. I decided to buy Soundcontrol, as I'm a film student, and it proved useful while editing. I saw that they offered a student discount, and entered my education email. I was not in their database and i was in a hurry, so i purchased anyways, and wrote them an email about not being in the database. An hour later they refunded me 7 dollars, as according to their student discount. Amazing customer service!

I am a wide user of streaming services and music streaming speakers. I was a Crestron/Sonos user and have recently ported to Bang & Olufsen. That has been a mixed experience but more elsewhere on that. At any rate, I wanted to give feedback on Airfoil. It really is sensational software and allows you to take proper control of music in native apps and then stream to wifi or ethernet speakers. The software is world-class and the customer service, if you need it, is sensational. Why aren't the main-line music services as competent as these guys? If you are into music and streaming, this is must-have software. THANK YOU !!

I use Audio Hijack and find it great for capturing audio from all kinds of apps. I'm writing this review because the company got back to me about a feature request I made months ago and told me it had been fulfilled: it had. I am very happy that they listen to their customers and keep them updated.

Really solid products and service. They stand apart because of their customer service, which has always been immediate and responsive on 2 occasions over many years. IME, their Airfoil surpasses Airplay - more stable for me.

The software is absolutely amazing and it works out of the box. I use LoopBack & AudioHijack. The UI is seriously intuitive, there are no errots and when needed the support team is rapid, friendly, and really good in general. I can without a bad heart recommend this product to anyone.
