I do really like the tub but customer service is awful. The rubber around the door is coming loose. I have tried to get a hold of the salesman and the company itself and have not had a single response. I want it fixed but I can't get anyone to call me back. A lot of good a lifetime warranty does. I also wanted to add the shower but it is so expensive. May 31, 2021 I have since been contacted and have scheduled an appointment. Hopefully everything goes well. I still am not getting the shower because the price has went up to over $4000 dollars. Way to much

I would suggest personnel & representatives know a little more about plumbing as it cost us $300 for a plumber to get tub to fill faster. (about 20 minutes) Water entry spout should be larger. Since elderly need the tub warranty, the warranty should be transferable to next owner. I will keep ownership of the tub even though I may sell my home. A few inches of more room between the seat and the door opening is a necessity for the elderly.

I had my Safe Step Tub installed on 3/5/21, after that I couldn’t take a (comfortable) shower for a week, the water was either freezing cold or scalding hot. Once the installer came back out he realized he had connected the water lines backwards, but to his defense my water lines were reverse color coded, but the temperatures should have be properly checked after the installation. They try to install everything in one day, this is a huge job and doing it all in one day can lead to mistakes during installation. Also the rear access door on the tub does not fit properly. I also have the shower package and the glass door does not close evenly which caused the rubber gasket at the bottom to tear off. The rainfall shower head is adjustable up and down to adjust for your height. When using it, the shower head with rise up all the way to its maximum height and get stuck and you can't pull it back down, so far mine has been replaced twice. I think the shower package is a bad design, instead of the shower head being locked into place it uses a simple friction setting to hold it in place, but does not work with my water pressure. After waiting for the shower parts to come in and multiple phone calls to their service department, on 5/5/21 they sent out a service tech that fixed all the issues.

I have been trying to set an in home consultation for months but apparently the company isn’t seeing anyone in the city of Detroit because of Covid. What a crock, they go everywhere else. I know this because I had my cousin in Miami call and she had no problems. Very disappointed in a company who claims to help you stay safe at home but won’t come to my home because of where I live. My money is just as green. Shame on you for discriminating. But maybe I am the lucky one after reading all the other bad reviews.

We had our Safe Step installed 1 October 2020 and we had a struck drain problem February 4th. We called for a technician, when he arrived a few days later, he explained how the drain works and what we should do. The drain worked fine until the first week of March. We followed the directions the technician told us but it only worked twice and then stuck again. The only way we could get out of the tub was to climb over the side (not very safe). We have called 4 times over the past 3 weeks for help but no answer and we left messages each time. We are still waiting on our 5th call (on hold for 30 min) then the call hangs up. I called again (6th time) and still waiting! My next call will be corporate HQs and see what happens! This is totally unsatisfactory and unprofessional. I need help now or I will be forced to take more drastic measures.

We should form a support group for those who have been shanked by this company. Shame on Terry Bradshaw and Pat Boone for hawking this on T.V. and scamming people (retirees) out of their hard earned money. Tub fixtures leaked under our home, no call back from customer service. The salesman was a smooth talker but fails to tell you, you'll use up your hot water before the tub gets full leaving you cold, and you will have water all over the floor from the jets that splash over the sides. The salesman could see my husband was tall but ordered the smallest tub available. So forget about taking a long luxurious bath or shower like Pat and Terry...it ain't happening. What a joke, save your money, it's not worth it.

I ordered a Safestep walk in tub on 2/8/2021, after the deposit was paid the company called me and we scheduled a delivery date of 3/1/2021. The night before I received 2 delivery confirmation date for 3/1/2021 and they wanted to make sure someone was at home to receive it. I took off work in order to receive it. 3/1/2021 came and I receive a call from the installer that he received the wrong tub. I called the company and spoke to Michelle and James, who informed me that their is nothing on the contract that states they must honor the delivery date and that contractually they do not have to refund the deposit. The customer service is awful. The reason for the delay is that someone failed to provide a product code, my reply was that they had this order for 1.5 months and now they are telling me that no one noticed there wasnt a product code on this order, then they blamed it on the snow storm they had in Tennessee, my reply was that to a degree I could understand that, but then why was I called to confirm delivery versus someone calling, explaining the situation and requesting a possible reschedule. Bottom line is that Safestep walk in tub are only worried about their bottom line and have no concern nor respect for their customers. I believe that all who have been affected negatively by this company one way or the other should make their complains go viral. They need to be reminded that the customers are their bread and butter. No customers, no pay checks. Mind you.... I took a day off from work to sit and wait on these ninnies.

Don't trust the salesman, he is only after the sale. He will lie to you and make faults claims. The installers are great, very professional and want to help. Time will tell if the lifetime warranty is any good.
