SchoolStoreReviews of schoolstore.com

This fundraiser has absolutely exceeded our expectations! From the initial setup, to the ongoing AMAZING customer service, to prize and gift card delivery, SchoolStore absolutely set us up for success and helped us every step of the way! Our small school has benefited SO much from this fundraiser, with very little demand put on our families. We can't wait to partner with you again next year!

It good for the kids

My campus was amazed at the ease of participating. Our students loved the prizes and were motivated to get their envelopes turned in.

I have very dedicated parents and received over $400. I promoted participation and had a 100% of my students receive a hugger. To my alarm after spending over $250 I received my order to find very small highly inflated items with two items missing. The items could have been purchased for less than $100 on Amazon or at the store. I called and got a closed for the upcoming holiday message left a voicemail and emailed .I just read the email and it states some items come from outside vendors and I won’t get a refund back to my account until the two items are returned and at my expense????? How can I return two items I didn’t receive ? I didn’t receive a pizza fraction game and sight word swat game. Why am I responsible for shipping? That’s another thing I noticed every item is charged a separate extremely high shipping cost so if you have 15 items you have 15 shipping cost!!! This eats up a lot of your money on your card and with the high cost of the items you end up with virtually nothing for the money you spend. Perhaps some teachers feel this is okay because we don’t make a lot of money and spend money constantly on our students. This is true but I serve predominantly low socioeconomic students whose families gave out of need and I feel they were robbed. I promoted a program unaware of how misleading it was. I didn’t investigate the company until after I got involved in promoting it. I have read numerous complaints from other dissatisfied people including parents and relatives who received the bait emails.. I understand the company is out to make a profit but there are too many layers used to quickly consume the money on the cards overinflated prices, separate shipping cost for each item etc. The company has in writing that lost/ not shipped items would be replaced and then telling me I have to return items I didn’t receive and pay shipping cost is impossible and criminal. I called again this morning, was on hold forever and then went to voicemail yet again So I can’t even speak to anyone. I emailed asking that my parents be refunded their money and I talked to the person in charge of this program at my school. I’m going to contact my district, my former district, the district s my other grandkids attend and any others I possibly can about SchoolStore and how they treated me as a teacher first and then a customer I’m also contacting the BBB and the reporter for the news who addresses customer care issues. This is unbelievably wrong and someone has to make it known.

My grandchildren’s school is participating in this fundraiser. We donated about $80 to each child because we assumed the money would go directly to the kids’ teachers. Not so. The teachers have to “shop” at the company’s store. I wasn’t able to access the teacher shopping page, but I’m guessing there’s a HUGE mark up. I could have purchased a Walmart gift card for each teacher to use that would probably have yielded far more supplies for each class.

The teachers are loving SchoolStore and all the benefits to supply more books and learning tools to their classrooms. The students love the prizes and the stuffed animals when they sign up. Thank you for all you do for the schools!

The customer service is awesome and they’re always there to help with any questions I have!

We have been using Schoolstore.com for four years now. Our main reason is to raise funds for our teaching staff through their Caring for Classroom gift cards. We appreciate when families also make other purchases. The website is very easy to understand and use. The students appreciate the gifts they receive for signing up and returning their envelope to the office. I feel we have done better in past years but I blame our difficult economy for the decline in sales. I feel Schoolstore.com is going a good job and I enjoy catching up with our representative, Olivia.
