I've been a Lifetime member for a couple of years now, and I can't say enough about how valuable I find this information. I battle mercury toxicity that sidelined me about 12 years ago. No Doctor has ever helped me either with diagnosing or treating my condition! In fact I have given up on modern medicine and will NEVER, willingly undergo anything they have to offer. I really believe we are capable of healing ourselves! Once you send off the kit you wait for your results to be emailed to you. Once your results are emailed it's super easy to upload your DNA profile. If you want to buy a specific Wellness Report you can and it comes with a lot of information. I didn't know that a lot of my issues were due to my gut not functioning properly. It was a huge amount of information. They break down the sciences for you into easily understood information. They give you suggestions that are 100% evidence-based solutions to whatever issue your genetic makeup may present at that time.

I am a cell biologist who had my genome sequenced a few years ago by a different company. That company did a good job with the sequencing, but the interpretation was very limited. I found myself following the kinds of information SelfDecode provided, until I officially signed up. SelfDecode is extremely helpful, for example, by uploading my original sequence to their web site, though it was not on the list of uploadable sequences. The company representatives have also been very helpful when any glitch occurs. But the best part is that the information they provide, both on one's own gene variants and on the scientific literature, is terrific. There are a lot of very informative references to what your variant might mean, what the gene does and how variants might affect it. The health recommendations are useful and sensible. SelfDecode summarizes results so that they are very accessible, but they are also very up-to-date on scientific research. So, in addition to your own health being positively impacted by SelfDecode (as mine has been), you might find your curiosity about genetics whetted.
