Very disappointed with Selkirk’s warranty service. I purchased a Boomstik based on the lifetime warranty, but when I needed a warranty replacement, Selkirk refused to provide one without charging me an additional $50. I even offered to accept any available replacement, regardless of color or model. If a “lifetime warranty” comes with unexpected fees when you actually need it, customers deserve a clear explanation. Very frustrating experience and not what I expected from Selkirk.

Absolute garbage customer service
Absolute garbage customer service. I cancelled my order and cancelled my VIP membership within three days of the purchase.
1) the $600.00 order I placed had one item ( bag) that will not be shipped for a few weeks. I asked them to send the paddle and the other items now. They wouldn’t ship two times. They said I would have to cancel this order and place two separate orders. However, they also said it must all be done today for me to get the discount provided.
Way to throw the burden back on the customer vs finding a way to get it done on your end.
2) they said that one of the items isn’t available at all so it also would not be shipped. I explained that this was something I get as a part of my VIP membership. They said that they are out of stock and that I wouldn’t get it. However, I could order something else in the future and then get it….
So, rather than send it to me when it is in stock, they want me to spend more money, miss the one that I am supposed to get this (and that was confirmed and available on my original order), and be forced to place another order later on to get something I am paying for….
The person on the phone was very matter of fact. “Sorry, this is our policy.” The customer doesn’t matter at all.
Needless to say, I cancelled my whole order and cancelled my VIP membership. I will be sure to let all know that Selkirk is not good to work with.
Moving on….

Selkirk Court Strike Pro shoes low…
Selkirk Court Strike Pro shoes low quality is only outdone by their poor customer service. When a product fails and the company response is “that’s only a cosmetic issue and does not affect performance” is an alert that they don’t understand customer satisfaction. After having the uppers fail in less than 2 months I requested a refund. They would not issue a refund but sent a replacement pair that failed inside of one month. I, once again, contacted them advising of the same failure and they refused to acknowledge or address the issue. Be warned that Selkirk fails in customer support and satisfaction. I’m done and will insure my pb community knows they stink

Really started off liking the boomstik…
Really started off liking the boomstik paddle but after only a few weeks the edge came loose and had to replace it. 2nd paddle had same defect, edge came off paddle. Now they are giving me a hard time with warranty. I dont even want another would rather have my money back. Really poor quality especially considering how expensive it is. I recommend not purchasing.

Just hope you don't have to return your paddle
The tracking shows that my return reached their facility on March 2. Now it's April 8, and they're still stringing me along.

As a new pickleball player
As a new pickleball player, it is disappointing to have this be my first experience with a company that is widely regarded as a premier brand. I made a purchase during the holiday season specifically requesting expedited service and was genuinely excited to invest in my first high-end paddle. Unfortunately, the experience fell well below expectations.
Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, communication was extremely limited. Customer service availability extending into 2026, rejected emails, and a lack of response across multiple channels—including Instagram, Facebook, Shop, and Affirm—left no clear path for assistance. Even my bank was involved in attempting to rectify an order that ultimately did not process until three business days after the original purchase date.
For a brand positioned at a premium level, the lack of accessibility and timely communication is concerning. Expedited services, in particular, require clear and reliable support, which was not present in this case.
I hope that, over time, improvements are made to customer communication and order resolution processes. At present, however, I cannot justify a rating higher than one star given the repeated unsuccessful attempts to obtain support and clarity regarding my order.
Selkirk would benefit from realigning its customer service practices to better honor customer needs, orders, and expectations—especially for first-time buyers.

Good for 3 months
Paddle was a $250 paperweight after just a few months. It’s warped and one big dead spot. Not to mention no grit. I contacted them to replace it under warranty and they tell me I have to pay to ship it to them so they can see if it qualifies for a replacement. If it doesn’t last any longer and they don’t back it up like they claim, might as well just use $50 paddles.

Horrible customer service. I sent my paddle back never even opened the package and they refuse send my refund.
Selkirk labs? Are we kidding? Have users pay $400 to try a prototype?
DO NOT BUY SELKIRK
paddletek and joola are easily better options
