Frustrating and Overhyped – SimpleGameHosting is Anything But Simple

If you're thinking about using SimpleGameHosting for a modded Minecraft server, save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. Setting up a modded server with them is insanely difficult. They advertise mod support, but in reality, they only offer six modpacks — and even those are a nightmare to get working. I even upgraded my plan thinking it would help me play the modpacks they offer, but it changed nothing. The process is just as clunky, confusing, and frustrating. Honestly, if I wanted to play vanilla Minecraft, I'd just get Realms and avoid all this hassle. The entire point of using a hosting service like this is for modded servers, and they completely fail at delivering on that. To make things worse, their customer support is slow and pretty much useless. You'd think paying for a service would come with at least decent support, but good luck getting any real help. Overall, SimpleGameHosting is not worth it for modded Minecraft. Overpriced, overhyped, and anything but simple.

Playing a modpack is as simple as searching for the modpack you want and install it. For customer support, we looked more into specific chats and situation as we truly pride ourselves in having the best support possible. Your Live Chat wait time was under 45 seconds, and you were spamming and cursing at our support agent, who still helped you until you ended the chat.
