I've purchased 2 of these nightwave analog cameras over the last few years for different boats. I love the night visibilty if offers and it is a excellent safety feature for those of us who venture out in the dark. My only issue is the warranty, only 2 years. i feel like they should gaurantee their product for longer. My one camera died at the 3 1/2 year mark and was only used at a minimum 60 hours. For the price $1800ish they should back their product with a little more confidence. I should not have to pay full price to replace this unit already. The camera was never damaged and the only had to deal with weather conditions. Sionyx stand by your product and issue some reliable discounted replacement options.

Recently purchase the Sionyx Night Vision camera on my new offshore boat and had it connected to my Garmin 8612xsv screens. When I turned on the camera and viewed through the Garmin screens, the view was blurry. I thought something must be wrong. I contacted Sionyx tech support and the response was: "...this looks like a normal Nightwave with a limitation from the Garmin display," Sionyx Night Vision camera resolution: 480p analog -vs- Garmin 8612sxv resolution: 1920x1080p digital This is not a limitation of the Garmin screens, Its the Sionyx Night Vision camera. I read many reviews, watched many YouTube channels discussion on the camera only to discover the true story and limitation of the this camera is not being told. I'm not a display guru but after spending upwards of $2,700 dollars for the camera and the install, very disappointed customer!!! If you are attempting to plug this camera into any modern digital display 12 inches or greater on your boat you're going to be very upset with the results. STAY CLEAR OF THIS ANALOG ANTQUATED PRODUCT!

Having never tried Digital night vision i was apprehensive. I saw the OPSIN and immediately got excited. I ordered and have been extremely pleased in my 100hrs of operating the system. I will continued to do business

My biggest complaints are the eye relief and focussing.. they need to improve some user friendly options such as the duty involved weaver rail mount that needs to be removed to charge unit. IR light could be focusable as well as the units focusability. 200 meters with clarity would be great. But for the price an all the options this pro can do is to be sure a great unit! Recommend !

The aurora Camera I ordered does not read any of the SD cards I’ve bought for it.Nor am I able to find the device via the app

Great product, quick shipping and knowledgeable staff. Installing the unit on our Fountain for our family trip to the Dry Tortugas/Fort Jefferson. It is a much needed upgrade for night time/overnight trips like this one.
