I applied to skillsoniq
I applied to skillsoniq. Firstly, you are unable to even review projects before completing the application process. The application process is laborious with many required fields; too many. Then, after spending an inordinate amount of time completing the application process, I was immediately rejected. A complete waste of time. I have been asked to update my review :-) after I posted this review, Skillsoniq contacted me to explain that my application was rejected because they ONLY accept local candidates. I am not sure why they do not state this clearly on their website. But they were willing to explain this verbally to me AFTER I had already gone through the process , been rejected and complained.

Hey Beth - Sorry to hear about your experience on SkillSoniq. Part of the reason we declined your profile was because you are based in Paris, France, and we currently connect "local" freelancers based in New York in the US with our clients in the greater New York region. If things change in the future and you are back in and around New York, please let us know and we will re-consider your profile. Good luck!
