Poor communication and glib attitude in their retail (eyeglass ) shop
I think Dr. Lowe is great, HOWEVER their retail (eyeglass) shop was problematic - I waited a month and a half for a pair of lenses with no communication. At the one month+ mark, I stoppped by to find out what the hold-up was. I was told "they're in , but need to be inspected" ...??? So, after another week and a half of waiting I stopped by again and was told "the lenses needed to be cut to fit my old frames" (again with no notice). Uhm, ok, so I left the frame there with no contact again after another day and a half. I finally got the glasses and my frame was visibly damaged - they pleaded ignorance and just said, "well, they ARE your old frames (a subtle reminder that I signed a waiver exonerating them from any responsibility for careless handling that results in damage). ...Never purchasing lenses/glasses there again.
