I needed a cost effective way to transcribe interviews. I didn’t want to pay for a subscription because I don’t have the volume to warrant it. Sonix allows me to purchase an hour at a time, which is perfect for my needs. Other features I like include the speed and quality of the translation, and the ability to click and listen to the recording at any point in the transcript. Very useful when checking the accuracy of the transcript, as the platform doesn’t always recognise accents and local names and places.

Sonix has been an excellent tool for reviewing and revising older video content for my work. The price is reasonable and the transcriptions are high qualty.
