Great prices, but leaky bag (on my first order) which for a powdered product is incredibly messy and dusty. When I complained via email I got no response. Disappointing. I probably won't order again.

I love everything I got, but the problem is the box was completely open, it had been stuffed to much. The package of tomato flakes had been torn open on the bottom slightly. I would have given 5 stars if they had put the order in a slightly larger box. I love Spices for Less, and will definitely order again!!!

Update: Just heard from customer service ( five minutes after I posted this review ) - they will not issue me a refund but will offer me store credit - I guess I’ll go with that. I received my spice order and emailed the company immediately - as soon as I opened it I knew that was not a mix of spice that I was used to as i have previously purchased this from other small vendors that are out of business now - the one I opened smelled instantly of cinnamon and that is far from what I was needed. I sent two emails and left a voice message - not realizing that the company is closed on Fridays and also on weekends - got a response this morning in the form of a store credit.

We are sorry that you were not completely satisfied with your order. Seasonings may vary in recipes. Our recipe happens to have cinnamon in it. Whats unfortunate about your complaint is that it could have easily been avoided. Our Product page contains ingredient listings- where you could have seen that cinnamon is one of the ingredients. If you were looking for something specific with your seasoning- it would have been a good idea to glance at that first. Regarding how we dealt with it- We were told that the product was opened- but not what the customer liked. Once our product is opened out of our facility- we cannot take it back for resale due to quality control issues. If there was an issue with the product out of a mistake on our behalf- we would gladly refund. In this case however, we were just told that it wasn't your preference. Never the less we still credited you full store credit. Lastly, for clarification- our company is open on Fridays- we are only closed on Saturdays and Sundays, However our customer support is not in on Friday- Monday morning was the first chance customer support had the chance to respond to your issue- which they did.

Website repeatedly wouldn't allow me to check out. Had to call. Their human support was very helpful and got my order through.

Very good service and good fresh spices. However, the cinnamon sticks I ordered and received not better than brand and non brand in local store. To me it was not very aromatic or flavorful.

My product was delivered in record time however there were no directions on how to use the product...I tried using it several ways but the spices just went to the bottom and did not mix with my tea...I was very disappointed with the product...

Dear Florence, Thank you for your business. We apologize for the misunderstanding, but our spices do not come with instructions. When it comes to the usage of spices there is no right or wrong. It’s all a matter of taste. Perhaps in the future, you can try boiling the tea spice in water or purchase a muslin bag to keep straining down to a minimum. Good luck!
