I wanted to check if their services is what fits what we need but there was no trial, got the subscription anyways since it said 30 day money back guarantee. It wasn't necessarily what I needed. I asked for refund without explaining anything. They replied right away: You're all set. I've cancelled your SpyFu subscription, and I refunded the $59 charge back to your card -- that easy. So wanted to give them a 5-star still for this. :)

SpyFu is a highly comprehensive app that provides you with everything you will need to handle SEO / SEM work. There are many great things that the app offers, and some of the ones I like the most are: 1. Its ability to work with ChatGPT, allowing you to work with an AI agent to go much deeper in keyword research and content preparation. 2. Visuals of keywords you share with competitors and ones you are lacking that they have. 3. Very easy to understand and use user interface. 4. Great competitor audit tool that gives you a glimpse of what your competition is doing. 5. Fantastic customer support if/when need be. I have been using this platform for five years now and have had great results with it. I can't recommend it enough for anyone doing SEM/SEO work.

The best SEO tool to find keywords. Has helped me find several variations of long tail keywords and fairly prices. Also the ChatGPT feature has helped with finding SEO issues on my pages

Use them for a month, When I tested their keyword searching against my site to verify how good they are . They said 30 paid PPC Keywords. I have well over 400. It shows their service is all lies. When I told them what happen. They said they refunded me, but never did. Now Im disputing them Making sure to give them 1 star on all review sites plus reported them to BBB FTC. Stay away from these scammers

Hi Tyler, I’m sorry this left you feeling this way. I was the support rep who spoke with you, so I want to clarify a couple of points. SpyFu doesn’t have direct access to your Google Ads account, so our PPC keyword data won’t always match the complete list of keywords you’re actively bidding on. As we discussed, this can be especially noticeable with locally targeted or geofenced advertising, and I understand why seeing 30 keywords when you know you’re running many more was disappointing. When you asked to cancel, I canceled the subscription and voided the $119 charge that same day. Because the transaction was voided rather than refunded after settlement, there isn’t a separate refund transaction. I also sent you the void receipt and explained that the original charge can remain pending or visible for a few days before your card issuer removes it. This also lines up with what your credit card issuer explained to you about how the charge could look like it's pending. I’m sorry the difference between a void and a refund caused additional frustration. We did cancel the account and reverse the charge as requested.

I had a great experience using SpyFu because it made competitor research easier to understand, especially for PPC and SEO strategy. I liked that it brings together keyword data, paid search insights, ad copy examples, CPC, search volume, and competitor performance in one place. The domain overview was especially helpful because it gave me a clear snapshot of what competitors were ranking for and what keywords they were buying. One of SpyFu’s biggest strengths is its competitor PPC research. While it also has helpful SEO keyword tools, I think platforms like Moz, Ahrefs, and Semrush may offer more in-depth SEO features overall. However, SpyFu stands out because its interface is user-friendly and easy to navigate. I also liked the question mark icons that explain different terms, which made the platform easier to understand as I was learning it. I also think SpyFu has a strong pricing model for what it offers. Its plans start around $39 per month, which makes it more affordable than many larger SEO and PPC tools. I do wish it offered a free trial, though, because that would make it easier for new users to test the platform before committing. Overall, SpyFu is a helpful and organized tool for competitor analysis, PPC research, and keyword insights. It can feel a little overwhelming at first, and I think it could improve by offering more tutorials or even a certification program. However, the reporting/export options, API access, and ability to launch SpyFu into ChatGPT made it feel even more useful.

Had a billing issue I needed help with and honestly was not sure how it would go. Sidra from the support team was incredible. She listened, understood my situation, and went out of her way to make it right. Did not feel dismissed or ignored, which is rare. The tool itself is great for competitive research but what really impressed me was how they handled things when something went sideways. That is the real test of a company and they passed it.

Despite some SEO and backlink tools being a tad outdated (relative to competitors), Spyfu still offers an excellent SEM platform. The best feature by far is the "SpyGPT" feature, where you can see how ChatGPT and other LLMs are presenting your brand and how to be mentioned more by AI models. The overall user interface of SpyFu could be improved, as I feel the tabular interface is less effective overall when compared to competitors Moz and Semrush. For the price, this is an excellent digital marketing tool that should be added to every digital marketers suite of tools.
