I don’t understand what happened but my last job was not paid. I have requested a withdrawal and it’s still pending. I have sent multiple emails to their support but with no answer!!! I want my money!!!

Shame on this language service company. I haven't been paid yet for a job done in May. Another job done in Feb took months to get paid with multiple emails back and forth. I will NEVER take jobs from them. Period.

I have been working with Stepes for many years and everything was ok. This year something must have changed because every time I am trying to withdraw my money I have problems. Each time they find a different excuse. They still owe me money earned in April and May though it's June already. I don't plan to work for them anymore, I just want to receive my money.

Still no payment for work I did over two months ago. No real replies either, just lies about PayPal payments supposedly still being processed. Their so-called support doesn't reply either. They must be destroyed and their owner and management held accountable.

I completed multiple projects for Stepes between February and March 2025, and was due to receive payment of $299.39 USD on April 19. That date passed — no funds, no notice. I was told to try again on April 23 due to a system issue. Again, nothing. Then told to wait until May 23. Still no payment. I only received a response after I publicly commented on one of their LinkedIn posts, at which point they said the funds were “disbursed” but still pending approval — and asked me to delete my post. As of today, I remain unpaid. I have filed complaints with the FTC and BBB. Stepes has demonstrated poor communication, a lack of transparency, and no respect for freelancers’ time or work. I strongly caution anyone considering working on their platform.
