It’s literally been a week since I started this program. I have never been to any kind of a program. Although, I have always felt like I had an unhealthy relationship with alcohol, I couldn’t get myself into a program with others that seemingly were more severe cases than myself. I got this impression because I am a law enforcement officer, and during training one day, The agency played a video of two fellow officers who asked for help due to they’re drinking problem. The video, proceeded on to a personally disclose account of all the ways they abused alcohol and the severity of it. To the point of lying to family members that they are going out of town on a undercover mission. But rather was actually in a hotel room binge drinking. WhiIe I, at this time, Had some concerns with my relationship with alcohol, that relationship was nothing like the one being explained on this alcohol awareness training video. It actually almost gave me an excuse to continue on. This is the very reason why I never pursued any kind of group treatment program. I have since retired from law-enforcement, and I still was trying to find something that would help me. And then I stumbled onto this program. Everything I’ve heard and watched with Craig has been speaking to me in just the way that I needed. I am dedicated, and I can do this the way that he is laying it out for me, for us in his unique approach. After a week, I feel absolutely amazing. I even have been told by friends that my complexion and glow is remarkable. Asking me what have I been using. My answer, absolutely nothing at all. So, there you go. I would say more, I can imagine getting more after the whole program has been completed. But at this point it’s been seven days. I’ve been doing a whole lot of research on my own besides what I’m getting here and I know I am growing. I can feel that my eyes are in deed open to this evil drug called “alcohol” that society made acceptable when it shouldn’t be.

having read the e-book twice. I decided to get the Audio version. This has proven to be one of the best decisions I have made in this journey. I have a ruffly 90 min commute daily and have now listened to the book 3 plus times in a week. This has helped me to internalize the information and arguments much more succinctly. I genuinely believe that this is the best way for me to get this through my ego. I have a long airline trip coming up and now plan to listen to the book and read along to aid me through the 16 hours of flying I have a head. Booze on an airplane has been the only way I have coped in the past. No more.

With a great desire to stop drinking this program give me tools that are working for me.
