They were terrible and pricey. I didn’t have a choice at the time I signed up. They over charged. I’m so glad I finally got another provider in my area. Stay away. They need to rethink their plans and service.

Just the absolute worst. They doubled my price for internet after 2 years, with no communication. Customer service is a nightmare. If you have another option (which we do not have in my area), go for the alternative.

Back in March I contacted Suddenlink by phone. The internet was working poorly and I needed a stronger connection to work from home. I upgraded to a bigger plan. They told me that HBO Max comes free with my plan. I told him that I don’t watch TV programs and I don’t even own a TV. It’s a no thanks I don’t want it. They insisted I get it because it’s free to me and no charge. I told him again that I don’t want it. They left it on my bill and it showed up as a six-month offer. Of course for free because they never mentioned any charge. Time goes by and today I noticed that my bill is $15 over the past few months. I tried to log into my account through the phone but I can’t because they changed their name to optimum. I had to create a whole new different login because they changed their company name. I guess because they tarnished the last one. I finally log in and all I get is a blue screen. Yes their technology sucks. I can’t even see any of my information on my phone. So I get on my computer and finally pull up my bill to see that yes I am being charge $14.99 /month for HBO that I never wanted and I never used. I finally get a rep on the phone. He says he will remove it from my upcoming bill but he can’t refund me for the other months. I asked him why and his response was that no one on the phones can access prior payments. There’s nothing they can do because they are all automatic. So I guess that means that if you’re ever i over charged you can’t get your money back through them. At least they could give me a credit for the overcharge on the new bill but he refused. I got pretty angry because I feel like they scammed me giving me something that I didn’t want in the first place and telling me it’s free only to get charge me at later time with no notice. I called him a scammer and he got very angry with me and started yelling at me saying that I’m getting a warning. Excuse me? But am I a child!? And yeah good luck getting any respect after shouting at me. I hope this dude finds a different job because obviously customer service is too tough for him to handle. I had to contact my creditor to file a fraud charge against them. I will be getting my money back through them so no problem but I can’t believe that they are allowed to operate this way. I also can’t believe that I was treated like a child on the phone. I will be reporting this scheme to the Attorney General. They actually want our input on this company. Google it! Oh and the funny thing is I didn’t even get the service for six months free at about 4 1/2 months they start charging me anyway. Yeah you’re not gonna win that one …give me my $60 back!!!

First, inadequate service, turns off frequently. I call to complain, they say they'd give a credit. Several times was said i would not have to worry about that month. Then next thing i know i have a passed due. Extremely upset, they do a big advertisement stating you'd receive a gift card of $50-$100, then when it's time to send, I NEVER received. I call, and they say of the pass due. DON'T TRUST THE SERVICE, REPS OR the gift card department.

When I first signed up for TV and internet my package was $120 a month. This was a decent fair price for the package and price not to change for 2 years. HOWEVER, 2 to 3 months later the bill went up to $150 a month and I did nothing different and service did not change. Not to mention we didn't have service several days. The a couple months later the bill was 176 a month then a couple month layer 214 a month This was with no changes in service no late payments nothing different. I called several times and could not get a representative. Finally I just got mad decided to end my service however the lady on chat said they couldn't do that I had to call someone.i called and called . They were wupposed to end service however they did not and I have a $3000 bill!! This company is ridiculous and liars.

Worst company I have ever delt with even after switching to Optimum. Just thieves. Services were to be on 6 month vacation they brought it up 2 months early, no notice and then 2 months later with these charges and late fees added they suspended service, informing us? Cancelled service and bill collection war begins! Was not aware prior as website stated account on vacation and could not log in? Customer service hard to reach and then very rude! Crooks, crooks, crooks!!!
