I came upon this website by chance having trawled through countless others to select a holiday villa. In my opinion it provides an excellent user interface for selecting your villa criteria with the information and photographs to support. I also used the online chat facility which was extremely useful. This will be my first choice when I next look for a villa in Italy.

The web site also has lots of useful information on the area which is very helpful when planning a holiday . Communication and the dissemination of information is key when it comes to making a decision on where to stay. Having people that know what they are talking about and who are easy to contact and communicate with makes all the difference. But it does not stop there, because Holidays can be won and lost in the details. Having a service whereby these details can be delivered, explored and confirmed serves to avoid disappointment and a ruined holiday. I approached another Italian based service as well as Trip advisor (Holiday Lettings), and even Secret escapes but Summer in Italy got the job done! We are planning our second trip from California to Italy using the summer in Italy website. We worried a little about booking a villa in a far away country based on images seen on the internet, but the images, descriptions, and reviews all turned out to be very accurate. In 2010, we corresponded with Luca and Andrea. This year in 2014 we have dealt with Luca, Anita, Melanie, and Valeria. They all seem helpful, friendly, patient (with our typical tourist questions) and knowledgeable. The company operates very smoothly and efficiently. All of our questions were answered through live chat or email. The email responses, reservation confirmation, contracts, directions to property and helpful traveling information are all delivered promptly. We enjoyed our first visit to Positano so much, that we decided to return, and of course we decided to use summer in italy again.
