Hello, We are sorry that there was confusion for the timeframe. However, our website states sibling tests typically take 3-8 business days to complete. You may have been viewing the paternity relationship page and standard paternity tests do take 3-5 business days. To be clear, business days does not include weekends. When speaking to you on the phone, you informed us that the child was fighting getting the swabs collected. That unfortunately resulted in poor samples arriving at the laboratory. The lab will extract from samples received until they exhaust the samples or get enough DNA to complete the results. If they exhaust the sample and there is not enough DNA, then LabCorp will request a new sample. The lab is currently on business day 10 from receiving the samples and it looks like it will be completed within the next business day. When receiving home testing kits, we cannot control the samples we receive. If samples are not taken properly, this can cause a delay by a few business days. We are truly sorry for the delay!

We are sorry that you feel as if your results are not accurate. We assure you that our testing is a very accurate test. We utilize LabCorp for all of our testing and they provide the highest level of accuracy for their DNA testing. We did notice that you ordered a home testing kit. As long as the correct individuals were swabbed at the time of collection in the privacy of your own home, it is an accurate result. Of course with home testing kits, we do not perform the collections on our clients. However, they still go back to LabCorp for the testing of the samples.

This is not something we have had any issues with in the past. LabCorp does all of our testing for us and they are an AABB accredited Laboratory. All of their results if set up as a Legal test are court admissible. You may want to check with someone else to see why they are stating this is not court admissible. The courts also use LabCorp for their testing and they are accepted nationwide.
