I am not a cook, just the husband that must cook once in awhile. i have made several of the recipes and they have been simple to follow, easy foe a novice and turned out delicious. Try her cold pasta salad, it is to die for. I watch for her emails every week.

I love the sheet-pan dinners. I have made your roasted ratatouille twice now and loved it. My favorite way to make dinner is to load the oven or the crockpot and then go do something else. I also avoid recipes that involve spattering fat: I can sauté a little, but prefer less intense methods. I have been surprised at your idea of "simple" and "few ingredients" in some of your recipes, which would probably taste great if I tackled them with all those special ingredients. The Hubster made your Thai chicken with bok choy: good sauce! We didn't have bok choy and didn't find a good substitute. I also sent him the paella recipe: not simple but ooo do I want some! The photos are beautiful. We learned about your recipes from our local farmers: Full Belly Farm in Vermont.

I have tried multiple recipes from The Forked Spoon. They are all excellent. The directions are clear and precise. I suppose my biggest compliment is that I know to trust the outcome for each recipe. That pretty much says everything.

I never miss checking out the morning email from Jessica, and typically save three or so a week. I have successfully tried about 10 over the past few months. Neighbors and friends look forward to tasting the results and often ask for copies. Now that summer is slowly leaving North Carolina, I’ll be in the kitchen more with Jessica.

Most of the recipes from The Forked Spoon are so delicious. I don't like seafood so haven't used those recipes. Almost all of the ones I have tried, are keepers. The food is delicious and easy to make. The emails from the Forked Spoon are inspiring with new recipes to try out.
