Throw away your clipboards!
I love Therapy Fuel! Having so many tools in one place, from scheduling and documents to messaging and session notes, has been incredibly helpful for managing my practice. Scribe is especially valuable because it works for both telehealth and in-person sessions, allowing me to focus more fully on my clients. I still take a few notes manually, but they are quick little jots, and it really does make it possible to focus fully on the clients rather than trying to be present and document at the same time. Their customer service and tech support deserve special recognition, with a special shoutout to Erica C.! She was responsive, patient, and persistent. During our call, my phone kept switching the audio to my headphones, and she kept calling me back while I was trying to get everything resolved before my next session. Erica, I truly appreciated your kindness and follow-through! My biggest wish is for Therapy Fuel to enable Scribe for intake sessions. Clients often share important information in conversation that they don’t feel comfortable including on a history form, particularly around trauma or substance use. Being able to record and transcribe that conversation would help me stay present, maintain eye contact, and build rapport instead of trying to capture everything on a clipboard. I’d also love to see the intake documentation translate clients’ history-form answers into clear, clinically appropriate language that supports insurance documentation while preserving their meaning. Currently, those answers seem to populate almost verbatim. Overall, Therapy Fuel has been a wonderful addition to my practice, backed by a team that makes me feel supported. Adding Scribe for intakes would make an already helpful product even better!
