We use UKSat for our vacation home in France. It is really perfect and we are very happy with the service.

Ordered the card and VPN router for my friend that I stay with in NL several times a year. Everything arrived, however, now when we go to access the website for help with the installation, whether he accesses it in NL or I try to access it in US, it says FORBIDDEN with the error response 403. I can understand if there's an issue with accessing the site from the US, but when I ordered it on 6Dec while in NL, there were no issues whatsoever. This is really poor service as now we can't even get any support to help set it up. If that's the case, we're still within our 14 day full refund return window and we'll just send everything back and go elsewhere.....

Interesting way of making contact, Karen: just go to Trustpilot and leave a really low rating. Thank you for that. Here is your reply: we are currently moving a hosting server and our website may appear offline for the next 24-48 hours. A very standard occurrence in the online community. Our email servers are fully operational and I would recommend you try that next time. Here it is for future reference: [email protected] - I have also emailed you directly.

Hi again! Turns out there was just something wrong with the emails. UK Satellite TV did not get my latest messages and only had the old ones from last year, to which they had promptly replied back then. Anyway, thanks to this here site UK Satellite TV got my message and even before I could read their reply the problem with my card was fixed! So, great opinion restored, 5 stars awarded, thanks again! Monika

With the benefit of hindsight I find their terms onerous, unreasonable and inflexible in that they insist on 30 days notice to cancel an annual contract on the anniversary date. On top of that I don't know what they offer that I could not have arranged myself to receive Sky in Europe without paying for their services.
Response from UKSatellite.TV· Aug 28, 2018
Dear Chris, we have certain rules and certain fees. You agreed to all of this when you signed up. And we even sent you a fair warning weeks before to tell you that there would be a charge if you did not cancel the service properly. I mean, you cannot run this more transparent and fair. You just ignored this and then got very upset when a service charge was applied. The exact charge we earlier emailed you about. I do not think it is right to then give a one-star-review. All our fees and service charges are communicated clearly and openly. If you do not cancel your mobile phone and they charge you for another month, do they get a one-star-rating from you, too?

Had no help at all, was told either our box was faulty, or it was the signal, the box and signal were fine, as we found out when we managed to fix the problem by ourselves.
Response from UKSatellite.TV· Aug 28, 2018
Dear Roy, We were in the middle of an open support thread about the signal issue that you had. It was explained to you what this issue usually was caused by and we offered future solution. You never replied to this but simply turnt around and posted this review. I am a bit left without words about this kind of behaviour... Customer is always king. Thank you for your time to post this review. You are welcome to return to our support email at any time. UKSatellite.tv

Would like some one to phone me when the details of renewal Debit cards need changing. The first time I have filled in details on your site, a problem happened. Also your site did not have a safe site where the lock symbol was not green, this is why I do not like giving details online.
Response from UKSatellite.TV· Aug 28, 2018
Dear Myfanwy, True: we are thinking about offering telephone support. At the moment everything is done so quickly and efficiently via email though and it helps keeping the prices at the lowest on the market. Thank you for brining this up though. UKSatellite.tv

Efficient company .....when you email ....they will definately get back to you .......but I wish there was a direct customer service phone line
Response from UKSatellite.TV· Aug 28, 2018
Dear Gary, Many customers ask for telephone support and we are thinking about offering it. However, everything is done so quickly and efficiently via email though and it helps keeping the prices at the lowest on the market. What do you think of support via whatsapp chat? UKSatellite.tv
