The did not offer anything of the sort of these positive reviews I am reading. When I called and was referred to a Lawyer to file a Chapter 7 bankruptcy the lawyers fee was THREE THOUSAND Dollars. Umm, that's not free. I feel their site and service is very misleading

I wasn't informed that to keep my car loan I needed to reaffirm the loan during filing so they took my car one day out of nowhere and now I have no way to get to work.

Totally negative. Gave this organization all my personal and financial information. No way to contact them. It’s been months and they still haven’t processed the paperwork. In the middle of the process that referred to some credit class that had all kinds of sketchy pricing and policies. To them through their chat only to have some paid for attorney’s office. Call me talk to me as if they were absolved. They wanted to charge me $1800 to file the bankruptcy. They’ve sent me countless emails and text messages ever since. I really don’t care but it’s the United States Department of justice back in Harvard law school. It still comes across as a high-tech well organized marketing scheme for lawyers and credit counseling organizations

Mandatory "Review" Service takes so long that the bankruptcy documents are no longer accurate. They claim that it's "2 weeks or less", but a month later, I still had nothing and my case had changed enough that the documents were no longer correct. Don't waste your time. Just download the forms and fill them in yourself.

After a long time, it took me to fill out their questioner they disqualify me without any explanation for a simple chapter 7 filing. This is just a waste of time and nowhere to contact them.

Our first priority is protecting people from the risk of dismissal or losing property, so we sometimes disqualify cases that may be too complex for a self-filed Chapter 7. I spent over an hour completing forms and could not download them. I was informed that I could not have access to my file and forms because I hadn't filed tax returns. This service was a complete waste of my time.

Thanks for sharing this. Filing recent tax returns is a requirement set by the bankruptcy trustee, not by us. We do try to flag that requirement up front because it’s necessary for a successful Chapter 7 case. The good news is you can still use Upsolve once your taxes are filed. The site is phony they say it’s free but all they do is find u a lawyer who gives u a free consultation then want to charge you a lot of money google would have found me a lawyer who does free consultations all reviews are fake they are all so perfect and the best FAKE it would not even let me leave this review

To clarify, over 23,000 families have used Upsolve to file Chapter 7 for free, erasing over $1 billion in debt. In some situations, though, we can’t safely support a case through our software. When that happens, we allow people to talk with a lawyer for a free consultation so they can understand their options. Those attorneys charge a fee if you decide to hire them, but that’s separate from Upsolve. Be careful. This is a scam to get you hooked up with an attorney that you will have to pay. No one files a bankruptcy for free for you. Check the Federal court Websites first

When that happens, we may offer a referral to a lawyer for a free consultation so you can understand your options. Hiring that attorney is always optional.
