would have been real nice if they could have actually mixed up the privy quarters and half dollars so everyone from all over the US had the opportunity to find a couple. instead they where apparently lazy with it and people in just a few states would find full boxes and other states none. such a joke!!

Stay away from this site!
A few years ago, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing, I purchased a commemorative coin from the U.S. Mint. What I received was an ordinary silver dollar with absolutely no connection to the event, yet I was charged the price of the anniversary coin.
I immediately requested a return and refund, but the proposed procedure was so complicated, and the costs I would have incurred were so high, that returning the coin made no financial sense.
In the end, I gave up. I have to say that I consider this website a complete rip-off, no better than the worst Chinese e-commerce sites. Frankly, this was a deeply disappointing experience from an institution like the U.S. Mint, from which I expected far better.

Sorry service
Sorry service, I got the full treatment mentioned in several reviews. Said they could not get my credit card to work, I contacted my card and was told they never attempted to use my card, tried calling and the noise on the line was bad, music on hold it was not. Said they were going to cancel my order if I didn't fix my card. I re sent my CC info. Again they said it was bad. Contacted VISA again and was told they never received any contact from USmint. Ranks right up there with the worst service I have ever received. I think they oversold the product and instead of being honest and telling me they made up a story, twice, that my CCard was bad, DEI at it worst!

U. S. Mint is broke
I have been signed up for a subscription for the Uncirculated coin sets for several years. In June 2026 I was told that the credit card on file that I had been using was no longer good. Same card. The order for the 2026 set was cancelled. I signed up for the text reminders. I have received three reminders over the months. When I go to the website it says not available every time. This morning I received a reminder when I was on my phone. I immediately went to the u s mint website. Within seconds. It said not available. I called the u s mint 800 number, waited on hold for seven minutes and was told nothing they could do. Tried to answer phone survey it does not work. Won’t let me leave any answers. If a private company worked like this they would go out of business quickly. Am now going to order from a private company, pay more, and stop having to deal with a broke government agency.

Site has broken waiting room
This site has a stupid waiting room. I went in early and patiently waiting in that stupid waiting room. In the final few seconds suddenly my wait time jumped to an hour. And of course by that time the coin was out of stock. What a monumental waste of time. Either the system is rigged or ran by incompetent staff.

Fed up
The music they play(if you can call it music) when they put you on hold I believe it is so obnoxious that is intentional so you hang up! Got a terrible headache. Also even though I have 3 subscriptions I have had for several years they always say there is a billing problem. I think I have had enough of the place and all the crap so probably cancel further purchases

Extremely Disappointed
Extremely Disappointed – Long-Time Customer Walking Away
I’ve been a loyal U.S. Mint customer for years and spend a significant amount of money with them annually. Unfortunately, my recent experience has convinced me to cancel all of my subscriptions.
My issue sounds remarkably similar to a review posted by Steve Sazegari on Trustpilot. In his case, an order was apparently canceled after a payment issue despite repeated inquiries about the status of the order. In my case, my credit card expired and I promptly updated it. I was then informed that I also needed to manually update each subscription separately. As a result, I missed out on highly sought-after releases, including 250th Anniversary products.
What is most frustrating is that customers who have demonstrated a willingness to buy are losing their place in line due to administrative or payment-processing issues, only to see the same products later trading at significantly higher prices on the secondary market.
I cannot say whether this is intentional, but when multiple customers report similar experiences involving canceled orders, payment issues, lack of notification, and missed opportunities to purchase limited-edition products, it raises serious concerns about how customer orders are being handled.
Rather than continue investing thousands of dollars annually with the U.S. Mint, I’ve chosen to cancel all of my subscriptions and put that money elsewhere.
As a long-time customer, I expected a system designed to help customers complete their purchases not one that makes it easy for them to lose access to products they have been waiting months to receive.
