I will absolutely use VakayMood again for any vacation or trip possible. VakayMood got us a one-week stay in Lake Tahoe at a timeshare-quality resort with tons of amenities for the same price we would have paid for a shack with zero amenities. And to clarify, using VakayMood, we got to choose a resort that is a timeshare resort (The Ridge in Heavenly Valley), without having to buy or invest in a timeshare. We were simply renting it for the week from a timeshare owner who couldn't use their allotted time with VakayMood as the middle-man. That's what VakayMood does. They connect unused timeshare vacation availability with anyone interested in renting it for the week or whatever time they choose that's available for a discounted price. We paid a flat rate, out-the-door of $1200 (everything included) for the whole week, where going directly through the resort, we would have paid about $2300 + taxes + resort fees of $350-$500. There were no resort fees for us when booking through VakayMood. VakayMood only teams up with resorts that are highly rated, which is another piece of mind when using there services. My wife and I spent a couple days just staying at the resort, because it was so nice with pools, hot tubs, mini-golf, guided hikes, tennis, shuffle board, golf driving net, a game room, billiards, ping pong, and a few other things we ran out of time for. We were there in the summer but in the winter, the ski resort is also a huge plus of being in the middle of Heavenly Valley Ski Resort at the top of the mountain with lift access walking (or skiing) distance away. The restaurants were great, and the resort staff were super accommodating and friendly. They gave us ideas of places to visit in and around Lake Tahoe and Heavenly Village. There were free shuttles into town and back, daily, from the resort which was a big savings on Ubering if we wanted to drink or just simply not have to deal with parking in Heavenly Village (which can be expensive). The resort even offered delivery of a DVD player to our room with choice of 1000's of movies. We had a full kitchen so we cooked many meals at "home". Oh and our view was outstanding! We looked out from the top of the mountain in Heavenly with pine trees everywhere and in the distance was Carson Valley. We would have never stayed at this amazing resort without VakayMood connecting us to it and making it an affordable vacation within our budget. Thank you, VakayMood!

Scam. Availability is not actually available. They mark-up prices by about $1000 from owners who have listed their rentals with other sites and then say it’s a “savings”….then will try to sell alternative dates/property. My credit card information is now in jeopardy with this shady company.

To address your claims and to clear things up: Prices: VakayMood offers access to unused resort weeks, and our pricing is often lower than retail rates. In some cases, owners may choose to list their rentals on multiple platforms and choose to price them differently based on various factors. No Bait and Switch: We do not “try to sell” anything that isn’t available. If a specific listing becomes unavailable before you book, we will always suggest alternatives. That is basic customer service, not a scam. Credit Card Security: Let’s be very clear. ALL payments are securely processed through Stripe, one of the most trusted payment gateways in the world. Had such a wonderful trip last week. Really grateful for how smooth the process was for booking, and for being able to stay in a resort right on the main beach that we would never had thought was in our budget. Especially not for 5 days! We're planning another trip for this autumn and I've already started checking available bookings.

I had a great stay in Park City! The location was perfect — right slope side, which made everything super easy. Errol was awesome to work with and made the whole booking process smooth and stress-free. Would definitely book again!

Had a nice time even with spring conditions on the slopes. Staff here are always pleasant and easy to reach. The bed was comfortable and the location cant be beat for ski in/out at Park City or a quick bus ride to Deer Valley. I even walked down to Main Street from the hotel to stretch my legs after dinner. The multi-pool jacuzzis was nice because we could find a chill section while families with kids could enjoy a separate area.
